Atty connector placement on box mods?

Just curious, I know it's simpler to put the atty connector on the edge (end) of the box when building multi-battery mods; but I prefer to have the atty connector in the center of the box. I was just wondering if anyone else has this preference or if it doesn't matter. If a 3 AA box is being used, typically the end slot is used for the atty connector, etc. If an open, project box is used, a lot have the atty centered.

What's your preference?

I have bigger hands, so holding a box mod feels natural with the atty connector on one edge and the button on the other. I think it's just a preference.

I don't care for a center placement, myself, I'd rather have it to one side. I suppose it would really depend on the particular box what placement would be the most ergonomically pleasing, though in terms of aesthetics I just don't like the look of center located connectors

I like the button circuit and connector on the middle of a 3aa box . Looks best IMO and it feels good holding with either hand

Parallel 3AA box, center, series 3AA box, end. Tube, as close to centered as I can get it.(some are a little off lol)

Heres a middle one i built . As you can one important thing .If you put the atty at the end you may lose one of the cover clips .That something to think about too . If you put the connector at the end like i said before it would only be easier to hold it with one hand,the other hand will need to be holding it right at the edge . The middle also balances the weight of the mod by having a battery at each side .

My vote goes for the atty on the end with the switch next to it on top.
When I hold it, the atty is on the top edge and my thumb hits the button perfectly.
