Just curious, I know it's simpler to put the atty connector on the edge (end) of the box when building multi-battery mods; but I prefer to have the atty connector in the center of the box. I was just wondering if anyone else has this preference or if it doesn't matter. If a 3 AA box is being used, typically the end slot is used for the atty connector, etc. If an open, project box is used, a lot have the atty centered.

What's your preference?

Heres a middle one i built . As you can one important thing .If you put the atty at the end you may lose one of the cover clips .That something to think about too . If you put the connector at the end like i said before it would only be easier to hold it with one hand, the other hand will need to be holding it right at the edge . The middle also balances the weight of the mod by having a battery at each side .
