My 510 was working great for the first few days, but now whenever I add a new cart (even the stock pre-filled carts), it leaves the cart dry after a few puffs and floods the atty. The atty still turns orange when lit, so I am guessing it is okay. I have no clue what is going on and any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, it sounds like the polyfil(the cotton stuff in the cart) either needs changed or cleaned...it is not holding the liquid...you can rinse the polyfil under hot water and roll it dry in a papertowel....re-insert and add juice

Are you using automatic or manual batteries? If you're using manuals then all you need to do is wipe off the connection with a dry paper towel. If they're automatics then you might just be SOL.
They are manual batteries. I tried wiping them, no difference.
What kind of cartomizers are you using? If they are low resistance, it will reduce the battery power of a 510 greatly, If the atty is lr it will use the juice way faster than a reg one........
When you use manual batteries, press the button in 1/2 to 1.5 seconds before you start your drag (if the atty/carto is cold maybe 2 seconds before the start of your drag) then let up the button slightly before the end of your drag since there is already some vapor made.
If you hold the button down too long, like through a couple of drags, then you may reach the safety cutoff timeout. The battery will flash instead of warming anything. And it will continue to do that during the timeout period. After it has finished it's enforced timeout it will vape normally again.
