Hey there. I am using a clear DCT tank on an ego-t battery. At first the cart seems to dry up (I did pre-fill the cart) and I have to pull up some juice by a little drag with no battery power, then it works for a few drags, then it floods and stays flooded. I end up with juice all in my mouth due to the it popping out into my mouth. It has a 1.5ohm dual coil cartomizer, two holes, and I'm using 70PG/30VG. Can anyone help me out with some suggestions?
Thanks.

Punch another hole in it or make the single hole bigger. The brief time I used my DCT tank this was my biggest issue with it other than the dual coil draining my battery pretty quickly. There are many videos on youtube on how others punch holes in them. I took a hammer, a nail and put the carto on top of my shoe (without my foot in it) between the laces so it wouldn't roll and made that single hole a little bigger. As long as you lightly tap it doesn't mishape the carto.

I'm still a vaping newb LOL
Not quite as I've read some of your posts and you give good honest information and I'm impressed. Not to mention those Hawk- eyes you've got :D

Before the cartomizer goes into the tank it must be first filled/ completely saturated otherwise dry burns/ loss of flavor will occur. When I used a carto and tank I pre punched 1 hole 2.5 mm wide. I vape 60/ 40 PG/ VG.

Thanks for all of the replies.
It is a new cart.
I was thinking that since it is a dual coil that having the cartomizer full would be important. Not true?

This is my experience using carto's. If you are using 70/30 or 50/50 a single hole should be sufficient. I use the standard single hole if i'm using dct or i punch a small hole if using a boge and it work perfectly find till i hit 5.2volts (only dct) on the provari. If i make the hole bigger the chances of flooding is high, also sometime the carto itself has issue. I'm a patient guy :p, i dont use the condom method as i'm using i drip from the top and wait and of course using a syringe is much faster. After asking advise with everyone around here when using 100% im using about 3 holes now and it's working.

My 2 cent
