Hey all,

Im sure this has been covered before so i tried searching but didnt really come up with anything. On my new Infiniti Ion the atty has been getting HOT i mean really hot. Its only a couple days old, and it hasent been abused because i have 2. But when i use this atty it seriously just gets burning hot. Is there anything I could do to reduce the heat or anything to prevent it. Does it just need a good cleaning? Im at a loss right now i dont really know what to do and i'd rather not have to order another atty. Because i tried.. and they sent me the wrong one :-/ (still waiting to hear from customer service!)

Thanks

josh

batteries don't last very long either imho.

Just a little FYI, a LR atty will run down your batt's faster than a normally resisted atty. So if you are going to be using LR atties I would check and see if you can get a nice sized battery that has a bigger mah than the one you have now. Will help alot.

I agree with you, I am just repeating the explanation I recieved when I asked why the atty was so hot. How can you tell if the atty is LR or standard without a meter? Anyway the rep says the battery should last a minimum of an hour. Really I would be happy if it would last long enough for the spare to charge. I am still new to the vaping world, is that a reasonable expectation? :confused:I know there are a lot of variables but we are talking about a starter kit. I just want to be able to hold it in my hand, and for the battery to last long enough for next battery to charge.:p
