My little 510 is a joy (lol no pun) to use, but recently the atty I use almost exclusively with the PT (and I use the PT a lot) has stopped being so great.
It still fires up - I;ve done a dry burn to make sure the element is heating up and it is, nice red glow on it. I put the cart on, fully filled by me, and get tons of vapor, (way more than Im used to actually) but no flavor - or the 'cart is empty' flavor. I've tried direct dripping on it and that seems to work but it doesn't seem to like carts anymore. When I remove the cart there is vapor coming off the bridge. It almost looks like its on fire, theres so much vapor, but its not on fire. I've tried many different carts, but its the same using all of them.
I switched attys with the one i use in my manual 510 and that works fine, I get taste vapor everything.
Could the other atty be broken is some way?
I've tried cleaning it (hot water rinse, blow, left to dry standing up on paper towel overnight), blowing it out (and there was a lot of juice in the connector before I rinsed it, even though I didn't hear a single gurgle, and no juice in mouth either), so Im really not sure what's up with it.
I had planned buying extra attys and it looks like I'll have to get them sooner rather than later now, but its annoying that its HALF working so I dont know if its kaput or not.
Just a note: I never touch the wicks at all.
Any ideas anyone?

No drama, if you can drip on it.

Try putting a slightly filled (not much at all) cart in after putting 2-3 drops on the bridge...........harder to draw on?

Clean the puppy in something, there are a bunch of ways to clean. If you were going to soak it in Crest I would then boil it, then let her dry for a good day.

Try again, once you have used up $8.00 of your time.......toss it

Or just drip on it and not use a cart.............bunch of vapor and throat hit that way.

I with you here doots....seems like the fibers slightly bond (melt) together and the juice flow is all off. I usually start flooding like crazy and just toss, cut up a new one and good to go!!

yeah, I hate to do it too.. Esoecially when they are a week or two old.. But sure is nice to vape a new one and start the process all over again.. :)
