So, I recently discovered that keeping my eGo lying down between vapes helps prevent the massive clogging problems I was having, and I no longer have to boil and dry-burn my LR 510s every night to get good performance out of them.

And now that I have an Ali'i on order, I wonder - I always see the box mods standing upright - I'm afraid this might lead to the clogging issues I was having before. Is it safe to leave something like the Ali'i lying down on its side? Or, is it somehow less prone to the clogging issues I was having when leaving the eGo standing upright between vapes?

I have the REO which I always keep standing upright and have not had any clogging problems. With an eGo you generally have have a cart, carto, or tank on top. It seems to reason that gravity would cause the liquids to flow into the atty if you leave it standing upright for long periods of time. With a bottom feeder you don't have that problem.

There is a learning curve, Zaija. My biggest problem is the batteries in these things are supposed to last up to 2 days. What I found was that, although they do last that long, their power weakens more quickly than that causing a reduced vapor production. I thought the reduced flavor meant I needed to squeeze more juice into the atty. Of course my doing so cause my atty to become flooded and stopped all vapor production. It took me a while to figure out what was going on. Once I started putting a fresh battery on every day, I have not had problems with it.
