Well found out that I might be moving to Denver very soon. So will have to Drive from Minneapolis to denver. Well problem is my pv is a 510. I can not pull over all the time to top off carts. And everyone knows I will have to change battery's all the time. Normally both don't bother me to much but was planning on getting a bottom feeder. Though was going to wait until the Ali'i or one of the others come back on the market. So will have it try and do it myself I guess. Does anyone know of any site that has any premade that are not back ordered yet? Why I want this is because of such a long drive I will need something with a long lasting battery and does not have to be refilled all the time. I don't think a carto will work either. As I said I can try and build one myself. The $8 mod in the mod section has good instructions, but I am so so at making things. Otherwise for the car trip I might have to go back to analogs.:(

I made the Puck mod and then made a version with a pump bottle juicer which works great.

There's a super tutorial on the Puck at the link on my sig and links to my mini-pump mod too.

The best thing about the Puck is that it uses regular NiMH rechargeable batteries and can be made with parts from Radio Shack (except a 901 or RN4075 atty). You can vape for about a day on a full charge with the 4 x AAA unit or a couple days with the larger 4 x AA version.

I'd help walk you through it and I'm sure others here would also. If you made a mod you might be able to find a little pump bottle and connect it to a cart with a little hose. You can use elastics to hold the bottle on the mod. Maybe not pretty, but effective!

Do you have anything other than the 510 that might be adaptable?

I'll send you one of my home made units for your trip if it will help keep you off analogs......

Can someone link me to the thread with the 8.00 bottom feed mod instructions? I'm pretty good at building things. Also, cool mods capecodjim, have you tried doing the pump one as bottom feed?

I know the thread you mean and thought I was subscribed to it but I can't find it anywhere. The search feature isn't the best either. I can search for things like trekk and only 3 posts come up when I know there are many more.

I'm glad you like my mods! They're pretty basic and have been easy to make with the help on the forums. I don't have any in need of testing but I make them just for fun anyway...... I made 3 different types in the past 3 days....

If your good at making things the Puck is a great first mod because of the tutorial and ease of getting parts. There are others too. They're very easy after you've done a couple.

I was going to try a bottom feed mod but I bought the wrong size bottle and I found it was perfect for a pump mod so went with that and it's been great. Many advantages over other ways. It's a closed system and doesn't leak or spill and you don't have to tip to feed etc..... The bottle holds a good amount and lasts me days...

I'm still interested in bottom feed if there's something good out there... some use brass but I wouldn't with e-juice.

Hey! The brass comment reminded me that the $8 juice box thread had pics of green juice and I found it that way! It was bugging me that I couldn't find it!

eGo pass-thru and a handful of full mega cartos is the ticket for a road trip.

Remember most mods will require batteries that will need a charge every so often so get spares or a mod that uses a pass-thru style setup.

Also make sure you get whatever you get at least a week in advance so you can get the feel on usage and not doing the learning curve enroute.
