Ive had for a few days now a boge 2 ohm atty that i haven't tried yet. Ive only used cartos. My first time to attempt dripping. Should i remove the bridge? Ive watched many videos and i believe i could do with no issue. I read some pros and cons but i just kinda just want a vote. Only knowledge i have is written down or from youtube. No real life experience like many of you.

Here is the information I can give you based on my personal experience:

Advantages: Increased heat in the hit, as well as a little better throat hit. Overall its a nice hit.

Disadvantages: It will make your atty flood more, meaning that if you overfill it, it wont be as tolerant, and will run out of the atty. Also if you let it sit for a few hrs the liquid tends to run out of the atty, as there is less holding it in there.

I tried debriding for a while, but overall decided it wasn't worth it, as it made my atties leak quite a bit. I wouldn't recommend it unless your really not enjoying your atomizer, and are looking to improve your experience.

In my experience I've had debridged attys early on that didn't work to well or burnt out quickly. Recently I got some Vapage beta hybrids - no bridge but were built that way. One performed almost as well as a cisco 306lr atty. In fact I still have it on my Reo-mini. It's this one - the 'gold' hybrid:

AMG Hybrid Universal (2-pack)

There is a silver one that is similar but didn't perform quite as well. The one's I got were 2.0Ω. I'd really be interested in a 1.8 or 1.5 version of the gold one. They're built for bottom feeders but the design is good for dripping to (on a manual batt). They look similar to this(which is a smoktek):

Smoktech Bridge-less Dripping atty

Again - made for dripping specifically - unlike just removing a bridge from a regular atty. The predominance of mesh makes a difference. With regular attys - the joye has more mesh around the pot than other attys - like the boge or others that have either all washer - earlier types, or mostly washer with little mesh - later types. So if you want to experiment - try it with a joye atty or one where you can seem more mesh around the pot.

But the vapage hybrids are well worth the money, imo - esp. if they have at least a 1.8Ω model - and that's a 2 pack in the link above. I see now they have a 1.5Ω. I'm likely to buy a pack :) They are really well built and I've had this one going almost 2 months now without a glitch. And I was 'married' to cisco's 306lrs. I hadn't tried his 357 hybrid yet.

Hmm, I add more mesh - in the form of bonuts. These are stainless steel pipe screen discs that are rolled into a tube, then formed into a ring. You can get two into a regular 510 atty and still insert a driptip.

Advantages: drip 6 or 7 drops. Tastes and works exactly the same. Nothing beats the vape from a dripped atty.

Disadvantages: doesn't suit chain vapers who can't re-drip due to their job - they need a bottom feeder (to get the same vape as a dripped atty) or a carto tank (if you can get on with cartos, some can't).
