My lacquer coating melts and peels inside my UFS. Without cleaning.
Mine as well, no cleaning, boiling, soaking or dryburning at all. I put a brand new atty in and go. I'm glad not everyone has this issue with the stainless 510's, but for those of us that do, it's very real.
Thanks much to Rob for requesting that this "clear paint" be left off their future Joye orders- still somewhat odd that some have the peeling and melting and others not at all- I have no idea why, but maybe specific juices are more reactive with the coating thats been applied to them, when they are soaked in it constantly?

I use only VG based liquids from clouds of vapor and others, and they all have a bit of alcohol added to improve the VG flow. Soaking one of my brand new stainless joye 510s in PGA for an hour, in my experience, makes this lacquer stuff start coming off and the atty surface gets very tacky as well.
Blackwater, I believe, likes a good strong menthol..:vapor:
Again, no idea for sure, just thinking out loud (I know, that's dangerous..:p)

Yeah. It's a problem. For now I'll just keep using the ones I scraped and hopefully by the time I need to buy some new ones they will have it resolved.
