Attys vs Clearomizers. They just dont taste the same.

1st I went from the tanks system to Giantomizer and the the taste was night and day for me. The Giantomizer had way more warm, tasty vapor Now I have been reading about the Reo and how great it is and am about ready to get one until I tried a 510 Magma atty (2.3 ohm). Am I doing something wrong with the 510 atty? Im just not the same smooth sweet taste as I do from the Giantomizer. I have rinsed the 510 atty with boiling water several times, but I still just get a dryer less flavorful hit than with the Giantomizer (which I assume is about the same as the Clearomizers minus the leaking and poor wicking).

Do the Cartos/Clearos/Giantos give better flavor the the Attys or is it just personal preference?

They do IMHO. I've used 510 cartos, attys, dripped, the Ego-T, various other pvs belonging to friends, and to me the v5 XL clearos are the best thing I have tried yet. They do take so fiddling to get right, but man they are great when you do.

I switched to the CE-2 XL clearomizers and love them no issues at all, except the clear tanks are wasy to split with drip tips. I ordered some Xtra clear Tanks from COV.

Attys tend to take a little longer to break in, and will last longer, cartos start off as good as they'll ever be and chuck 'em when they get tired. Just two different paths to a good vape.

Atomizers come with awful tasting primer on them. Did you get rid of that?

Re attys in general - I think dripping on an atty makes airier coolor vapor than cartos.

I'm going to keep repeating this on every thread I see it come up in. 306 drip tips fit the v5 XLs perfectly. I might even add it to my signature.

Yeah, Ive soaked them in boiling water several times, ran a bunch of juice through them, but they taste totally different. For instance: Ms. Ts Snookerdoodle taste exactly like a real cookie when coming off a Giantomizer, but when I hit that same juice off the atty, all I get is just a hint of flavor that is very dry with a ton of vapor.

Just got my first order of clearomizers the other day and love, love, love them!!!! I find filling is easy and far less frequent than either the regular cartomizers or carts (with atties)...also flavour and vapour production are excellent. Just have to figure out what I'm going to do with all of these blank cartos and carts I have laying around!

If you're talking to me, then no, they fit perfectly inside. They're just a little short, but form a good seal and mostly stay in place. I did have a problem with mine coming off inside my pants pocket while I was disc golfing yesterday, but nothing leaked, and I just had to pop it back in when I wanted a hit.

I love the clearomizers i find that the wick design works 10 times better then the regular attys for flavor and density or vapor. Also they make my 401 and my 510 hit the same. I now like my 401s better then my 510 now because they are smaller and can hold over a days worth of vapor.
