I think that half the battle, or more, with any CE2 style carto is having the right tool to remove the cup seal.

I have found that some type of hook is the best. That way you can get the hook under the seal in the cup slot and pull straight up on the seal.

I use a dental pick with the point filed off. You can also use the wire from a "binder Clip" also.

I picked up a nice cuticle tool from Walgreens.. works like a charm. Heavy duty with a scooped shape on one end and a nice pushing tool on the other.

Interesting stuff about the seal, I managed to get it out quite easily really, just with my paperclip tool down the fill hole and prized out.

Noticed on the seal a blackish discolouration around the tiny inner silicone right in the centre, this bit sits right above the heating coil... It must be this which kept giving me horrible burnt tastes all the time. So with a scaple I essentially cut out this small silicone membrane. Placed it back on and will vape it again later when my Rivas are charged up.

Burnt taste in a CE2 carto usually comes from the wick not providing enough e-Liquid to the coil. So the coil heats up and the e-Liquid burns.

If you enlarge the slots in the silicone cup seal slightly it can Greatly enhance the cartos performance and stop you from getting Burnt tastes.
