Lessons I learned early on myself. Don't just get backups. Get backups that are different. I have a couple of spinners, some e-pipes a SID and a mini passthrough.
To keep on budget, each month buy one new battery until you have at least 3 but not more that 10 different devices ;)
Learn how to make your own juice. As long as you have some nic in the freezer, you can get USP glycerine at Walgreens and add some flavor extract in an emergency.
Don't buy the newest juice device just because everyone is raving about it. Wait a couple of months and see what longer-term people are saying about it first.

Hope all that helps!

Did you say computer?

You sooo need a USB bypass...no battery, just plug into a USB (some say use a wall wart for safety) Imagine zorching your computer!! GASP!!! (sorry it doesn't help your right now though) Maybe something in USB passthru where you can charge while ya vape?

$5.50 Variable Voltage USB Passthrough Battery for E-Cigarette - silver at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

How do I know if this pass thru will work with a spinner or a twist or an evod? Thanks for info!!!

THANKS SO MUCH!!! That is a great plan! (and it enables me to feel okay about spending on my new hobby, lol!!!)

I am just ordering my first "unflavored" (50/50) from MBV. What is the smallest amount of nic juice one can buy and freeze?

thanks for info!

Same one I have. It's ego threaded and will take any ego or 510 device.

I have 48 mg nic from wizard labs. I get the 100 ml bottles and freeze them.
I have a calculator on my iPad and use that plus VG and PG to mix with.
Generally, I make up about 50 ml of blank juice that is at my. I level when I add flavoring. Works for me anyway.

I'm curious as to how this plays out.
Did the Evil one get to vape?
Are the batteries a lost cause?
Is the B&M open today?

Inquiring minds want to know.....

Good luck Zoe!

Ya, all that and did Walgreens take it back?View attachment 259436

It's not a charging device...

AHHH! Thanks it is "instead of a charger" then? While your other device(s) are charging? KK

I do find now that having 2 spinners, 1 twist and the new SVD that NOTHING runs out for like 5-7 days! but I am "rattling" with 4 devices on me because I like to switch up flavors AND in case one runs out, voila! i have another :) very very happy about that and now more excited about my MBV order today. (I was down about them being out of the Strawberry Shortcake).

^^^^this exactly. I've had all my twists go out at one time (my problem was the charging cord was going bad). It sucks. Sorry for your frustration. I'd definitely recommend having a passthrough on hand. That was one of the first egos I bought when I first started vaping & it still comes in handy sometimes.

this is the one thing I have against the Ego types,,,,,,they do eventually DIE, and you end up stock piling them to avoid it,,,,,,

Granted, mods have batteries that die too, but they are generally cheaper and easier to stock pile,,,,,,

and a pass through is always a good idea.

Hope you got it worked out!!!!!

I apparently screwed my Vision Spinners too tight during my frustration yesterday and the pins must have got stuck down because right now I'm sitting here with BOTH my batteries dead even though I've had one or the other on the charger since I got them last week or so.

I had to run to the store and pick up a freaking Blu starter pack because these things only happen on a Saturday night around midnight, right? My only other options were Njoy or some other brand I'd never heard of. Or actual cigarettes (which would have been way cheaper but I'm not ready to cave yet).

Does anyone know if the starter pack is precharged or not? I got a disposable one, too, just in case but it's ghastly. If the Starter Pack is precharged I'll open it, but if it's not, I'll just take it back tomorrow if I can get one of my Spinners charged or exchanged at the B&M I purchased it from.

This is what the backup battery was supposed to be for, dammit! Both of them weren't supposed to go at the same time. GRRRRRRRR

I read your thread this morning and thought, OMG, that would put me in panic mode. Wouldn't ya know it, about an hour later I discovered that all five of my batteries were dead. How could this have happened? I did have my spinner on the charger but I thought for sure that the others were charged. What to do? Unhooked the spinner but not enough charge yet. Oh wait, my eroll. Thank God.

So now I'm thinking I should head over to my local B and M and pick up another spinner or pass through. But I don't want to leave the house with batteries charging. Lesson learned: You can never have enough back ups.

Also get another charger. You never know when the charger itself will fail! :(

What dude said.

A passthru is the ultimate saver in any array of devices. And 5 bucks is an insano good price :D

I have about a half a dozen or so PVs, and I usually always have most of them with me at all times. As was said also, DIY pretty much guarantees you wont ever run out of juice.

See, I was thinking I might have too many vape-toys, now after reading here...well I just gotta shop now ! :D

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
Update so far: both batteries are still dead this morning in spite of being on the charger all night. Blu is STILL revolting.

I'll be headed to the B&M in a little bit to trade out the battery. It's only a week old.

I still know Walgreens will give me the money back on the Blu Starter Pack. That's what I used to do for Walgreens when I worked there. I was management and did returns and exchanges all the time....lol

More updates to come...but after my morning coffee and this plastic tube of god knows what that tastes of manure. BLEAUGHHH

I did a test I stuck a clearo on my Blu battery and it worked. Not great but it did. Blu batterys are 510 threaded you could try one of your own cartos or clearos on it if the ohms are not to high or low. Battery life will suck but it has GOT to taste better than blue cartos.
