What atomizers do you prefer instead? I'm also looking for something new (as I always am) and would like to give other ones a chance...

Can't really say anything is clearly better, I've got a few I like just as well, mostly I like variety, both in gear and juice. Some stuff tastes better it different atties, I use quite a few RDAs, but as far as tanks go two stand outs for me are the VCMT 25mm, and the 30mm, not clear winners, but I do like them. Got one of the postless ones on the way hoping that will be a good one as well.

The VCMT just pisses me off, have both the 25mm and 30mm. They both leak like a sieve under the afc ring. Poor construction, the press seal is ....ty. Shame because they both are great performers but the poor manufacturing kills it.

For a 25mm you can't beat the Boreas and for the 30mm the Modfather is awesome. I love them both

Well, that is too bad, I'd be pretty upset if I'd have paid that much for junk. Fortunately I didn't. My 25mm and my 30mm are both made by Shenray, purchased through Focal, I've had zero issues with leaks, paid under $25 total for both of them, think it was $9 for the 25mm, a $13 for the 30mm, machining and general quality is fantastic. Guess this is one case of the clones being better then the authentic. correctly sized deck and all.

I've had the 25mm for a while now, no leaks at all on it, the 30mm just arrived about a week ago, so only 5 or 6 tanks through it, but so far it has remained leak free, filling and in use. I nearly bought them from Eciggity back when they had the 30% off site wide deal, but decided not to because of some of the stories I'd heard.

I've had very good experiences with Shenray, and for the cost it was worth the punt. Been more then pleased so far, and I really like those plastic tubes they ship in, wish they'd sell them empty.

just got my boreas today, first impressions, then vs aromamizer supreme:

1. no oil residue, clean clean clean
2. extra build deck is nice, probably gona use it for single coil thru the posts
3. the drip tip is a little too snug, good and bad i guess?
4. the afc/jfc combined into one is great, silky smooth to turn
5. first time filling, i had the airflow closed, filled it, opened it up, had some seepage, why? i forgot to close it earlier and had around 1ml already poured inside, will have to refill to see if its really from that 1-2ml

overall i like it, kinda surprised how similar boreas and the supreme is(i mean i already knew since their inception, but first time having them physically next to each other), almost twin brothers but with their own little extra differences to set them apart

what i liked on the boreas vs the supreme:
1. afc/jfc is combined and is much more smoother to use
2. comes with extra build deck
3. seems more airy than supreme, have to vape it some more and then vape the supreme some more
4. the refill cap doesnt have an extra 1/4 inch at the top like the supreme, on the supreme this is where juice likes to sit, and when i refill, excess juice squeezes out, i guess it is because i use sx mini ml, whenever i have to switch out batteries, i have to tilt it upside down, which leaves some juice at the top, then i refill, there is already juice sitting there, so this design imo is better than supreme
5. seems like it doesn't get hot like supreme, but further usage required
6. the build deck is a tiny bit bigger it seems

what i liked on the supreme vs boreas:
1. the knurlings are much better, on the top and bottom
2. supreme seems to be more flavorful, less airy, but its close
3. drip tip is not as tight as the boreas, easy in, easy out, not loosey loosey
4. jfc is separate from the afc but is more cumbersome to use than boreas, if the tension is less, it would be great
5. looks department i think supreme looks better, boreas is not bad looking as well but supreme gets the vote here

overall, very very similar rta's both performs like champs, cant go wrong getting either

When i refill, i close the airflows, then i proceed to fill it, close top cap, open the airflow backup and it leaks

I tilt it upside down and burped it as well

Fix ?

Follow the instructions ;p
Fill, then open airflow to one-half of one hole before tightening cap. You're forcing liquid to seep out in other places if you don't do this

1. Closed airflow down to half hole
2. Opened top cap
3. Started my refill
4. Starts to leak thru the closed airflow
5. Closed the cap, had to leave tissue paper at both airholes covered up
6. Flipped it, eliquid gushes out from the chimney
7. Opened my airflow back up

Lost a quarter tank

Not enough cotton ? Ive actually used more cotton than my supreme and cut to touch deck.... Supreme i use a cotton sheet and cut into 1/3's, boreas ive used half sheet
Double check o-rings ? I did notice a broken black o-ring on the ground but im not 100% sure it was from boreas

LOL

I never read the instructions and I've have been managing thus far without the 1 hole half open part.

Thanks for pointing it out :)

Beauty of having an actual vaper help in design! I tried refilling once ignoring the instructions (for science!) and liquid seeped out through the bottom of the glass, maybe yours seeps through the juice holes or something, amazing how different tanks can be even among the same kind

Leave airflow closed when you remove the top cap - air escaping into the tank causes no harm. Leave it closed until you've already begun closing the top cap - you just want a hole for air/liquid while sealing the tank, closing the top cap compresses what's inside so it needs to escape

It just seeps a tad through the AFH when I refill it; nothing major. I'll follow the instructions next time I have to refill it.
