Where did people get their Boreas from? All I see are pre-sales.
The US supplier sold out their stock in 3 days flat. They're ordering more. Probably a lot more :) Right now, all there are is preorders; we're waiting on shipment.

what is this merlin you guys talking about
It's a one coil rig. A certain person had some input on the design. We think it's going to be very good, if perhaps not a 200 watt machine.

I've had mine for a day now and absolutely love it. I built a 3mm fused clapton wrapped 8 times .47 ohms. I noticed that whenever i fill up, It will leak like mad and then go back to normal. I tried with the one air ring open and then nothing. Any tips on this? I'm using the 2.5 juice holes and do about 85 watt pulls with 2 or 3 airholes open.

Close JFC/AFC, remove top cap, fill, replace top cap all but last half turn, invert tank, close top cap, open JFC/AFC, hold inverted to allow pressure to equalize. And some folks are bottom filling by removing the deck while inverted.

I had the same problem on my first refill and got the following advice from Roxy: Before you refill, turn the tank on its side/upside down and let the juice drain from the chamber. Close the AFC/JFC completely. Flip back over and refill. When reattaching the top cap, flip the tank back over once the o-ring is engaged, but not all the way tightened (when you're sure no juice will leak out the top). Open the JFC to your desired setting and wait 5 seconds or so. Flip it back over and you should be good to go. At least, it worked for me! :)

Thanks. I forgot draining before opening.

I get a little bit of leakage no matter how careful I am. This morning, I tried the bottom fill routine and it was SO much easier! Turn it upside down, unscrew bottom, which by the way is far easier to do than the top cap, fill it up, bottom on, turn it over and put it on my mod. Not one drop. Easy as can be. I never even closed of the air holes or anything.

Options!

Drain the chamber before closing the JFC and see if that makes a difference.

Its a good thing you didn't close the AFC for bottom fill, as it would have closed the JFC, and you wouldn't have been able to fill it much until you made a mess. ;P

OK, first impression is this tank is a beast. I do like the design, but I feel the Aromamizer is a simpler tank to work with. I love the large build deck of the Boreas, I put a simple 26 awg 5 wrap build in that came out around .4 OHM. Nice vapor even as low as 25 watts. Ran a few hits up to 70 watts with no dry hits. Top fill comes off easy enough so far on mine, but only did one fill so far. One drop leaked on fill up. So far I like it

Still need to build the Alleria, but the inner glass chimney was broken upon unboxing and the spare is real rough on the top and bottom edges. Any one else have that issue. I'll email STS and see what they can do.
