One more thing if I can bother you (or anyone else having the Ammit 25 also). Airflow on the Intake, how does it compare to the Ammit 25 with Intake airflow open at maximum? Same as the Ammit wide open, 75% or 50% etc. Asking as a buddy of mine wants to order tomorrow but is concerned about some reviews regarding the airflow being quite restricted. Like me has the Ammit 25 (did have the Serpent too but he binned it because of the airflow whistle). Mine hasn't landed yet so can't compare. He's gonna pass if it's the less than the Ammit 25 at 50% when it's wide open.

Mysteron, the Ammit 25 has a lot more airflow than the Intake. It has about 50-60% of the airflow the Ammit has comparing both of them wide open. If you need/like the airiness of the Ammit, you will probably think the Intake is too tight. It is slightly restricted lung hit, but smooth and enough for me.

Edit: One reason the Ammit 25 has such open airflow is that the top exit is a true 810. The Intake actually has a 510 opening with a "fake" 810 drip tip

Hearts,
I just put on the included black 810 dt that is taller. It is very nice if you like 810's which I do. I got's big lips LOL
The thing is, even the shorter works well because nothing gets hot around the mouth area. But if you are trying to restrict the airflow more I guess a 510 MIGHT do that, but from what I see the air opening at the exit end is already a 510 opening so you really won't change the restriction with a 510 unless the dt narrows even more at the tip.

Actually a 510 does help with flavor and a taller one is better for a cooler vape. I switched to a taller 510 dt and liking it even more. The alien was warming up the tank some and changing to the taller dt helped cool the vapor. Flavor is solid with the Intake, believe it will be as good as the Nanos when I get it dialed in and better for sweet desserts I like warmer.

I'll have to try a 510...I keep looking through my collection trying to decide which one! Although I don't find the vape too warm with the 810 on. Overall I think the Intake is really a fine vape. Dialing it in will only make it better.

The vape wasn't too warm with the 810 I had on it after I built it but was just too airy, shame too as I like the dt. Put this taller one on after chain vaping a bit with the shorter 510. While typing this I remembered I have a taller 810, may try it out later. I also have a couple more coming. Need to pick a STM dt.

Thanks! Mine will be here on Monday. I’ll see, “big lips” :D  Was just curious as I don’t like the blue color of the shorter DT :D

Hearts, I think you'll like it. I am impressed with the flavor profile my DIY NET juice is taking on with the Intake.
The salted caramel is coming out in a very different way. I was vaping that particular juice only through my Aromamizer Supreme V2 (which is a fine vape) and getting a totally different flavor experience.

Thanks for the detailed explanation on the flavor! I enjoy my 2 Supreme v2’s. My Intake should be here tomorrow. I can’t wait until Steamcrave releases their single coil rta ;)

Forgot I had that one for the Zeus.
Just tried it on the Intake.
Works good, about 1/2mm from sitting flush, but not noticable.
Same flavor as the 810. Just depends if you like the tip in the mouth, or pressed against the lips...:w00t:
Nice, but I'd love something more colorful. I love the 810 on the single coil Zeus.

I won't use the shorties at all and the blue is awful. The dt surprised me since Mike is known for his love of sharp dts; imo Augvape dropped the ball in that respect.
The Recurve drips are wonderful, they're 810. If they fit, it's a GREAT drip.

Yes, I'm still using those on all of my zeus tanks still. I have four left out of a five pack and will most likely switch out the tip with one of those on the intake when I get home from work.

The same, but a little more colorful for those of you that wanted. Now, wait for the slow tech...

I've had my Intake for a week now and the flavor is just as good as my favorite tank the Engine Nano BUT, like everyone is saying, the airflow is quite restricted. You can trust the youtube reviewers on this one. Everything is great about this tank except the airflow. With the Nano I use it with the airflow open about 1/3. I can use more or less air when I want but with the Intake I use it wide open and its a tight draw. I'm sticking with the Nano.

What I love about this tank is that it doesn't leak even when left on it's side for awhile...same as the Nano.

Somebody asked about the 510 DT. They work just fine with the included adapter.

The Nano is a little airy for me, that's why I love the Zeus single coil. I think I'm going to like this one...
