Here is a plant which has a scary amount of nicotine. 25% by weight!!!

So just 4 grams of leaf could make a full 36mg strength 30ml bottle of e-liquid.

There is also a related alkaloid, nor-nicotine which doesn't sound very good.

I wouldn't recommend chewing these leaves for fun!

that's VERY interesting. Considering that tobacco flavor is pretty much a non-issue to esmokers, high nic plants might become great new cash crops

Ha ha! Yes I am in Australia. Apparently this Nicotine containing plant was one of the few things traded nationwide by the Indigenous people of Australia! So perhaps we could let the the our Indigenous people harvest the plant and extract the nicotine. It could not be made illegal for them to use and exploit their own heritage.
