I had a thought today (clap clap I know) what would be wrong with setting up a place in Australia to ship juice? Like an affiliate of Liberty Flights or something. Now bare with me this may take a moment to explain, but I suppose think of a franchise, all orders and payments would go to the head company (in this instance we'll use Liberty Flights as an example) and the Australian stockist would simply ship it a small wage could be given to cover shipping and expenses, but that way it would A. Cancel out waiting times for orders B. Never have to pay expensive shipping costs. Does this in any way break Australian law. Since you're buying from a US Supplier but receiving it from a local shipper.

I think you'd have issues with your "3 month supply" that you are allowed to import (as the Australian shipping company). And since good juices are mixed when they are ordered, you are still going to have the same shipping time (perhaps longer). Also, the shipping costs would have to be recouped somewhere.

Nice thought, but I think while ejuice remains illegal to buy and sell in Australia, it's not going to work.

If it's 3 months supply per order just make multiple orders, if not why not borrow a few friends letterboxes say 4 at 1l a friend at minimum since it's only the nicotine that is the hassle the juice ingredients (I presume) can be bought here locally as for shipping costs on the head website when selecting shipping details include express post or standard post via aust post when the order is put through and then forwarded to the distributor the postage funds are also forwarded on. Flavour is mixed and shipped out within the week. Unless mixing the flavour takes a long time (in which case it would take (M=Mixing time say 1 week and S=Shipping time 8 buisness days without customs clearing or stuff ups) for international orders M+S=17 days whereas locally if S=1-4 buisness days then M+S=8-12 days of course this is all on the assumption that M=1 week(sorry algebra never was my strong point but it makes sense to me)).

Maybe you could get away with it if you set up a site that took orders for imported juice from a known, reputable source.
Direct your customers to the manufacturers site, then get them to copy/paste their cart to your site.
Once you have enough orders to cover say, the minimum amount to qualify for free shipping, place the combined orders with the supplier. Charge a small handling fee for organising the collective ordering only and you should be alright.
This way you could prove that you're not ordering 3 months supply, even though collectively you might be ordering more than that.
You'd probably need to prepare for a legal battle though over seized goods, and maybe consider having some backup funds to reimburse disgruntled customers if the goods are held up pending a court decision...
Sounds like it'd just be a lot of drama to go through either way :/
