How can you tell which model 510 eGo kits are authentic?

Their are so many with different style packaging and widely varied prices. I am wondering about reliability being sacrificed by savings...

Also I need a charger for my eGo and was interested to know if a Hello Tech 016 420mah charger would be compatible?

Telling which eGo kits are authentic can be an issue. Many of the fakes have packaging, inserts, and parts that look exactly like the authentic versions. A few of the fakes have gold plating but that is not always the case.

Janty and Joye Tech are the true manufacturers of the eGo. NOTE: Genuine eGo's can be re-branded like the TW Tornado.

The best way to insure that your eGo is authentic is to buy from a reputable dealer. If you have any doubts, contact the dealer and ask if their product is from Joye or Janty.

The fake kits might be cheaper, but there is no way to insure that they are safe or that their warranties will be honored.
