Auto Bat Question

Greetings,

Question if I may...

I have several other models of PV's...

The other "Auto" Batt models I have are sound activated and I can get them to light up by sound sometimes wind.

I can't seem to do that with my VFL auto batt.

Is it safe to say that the VFL auto has a pressure switch and is not sound activated?

I ride Motorcycles and would like to keep a VFL Auto in my pocket, a burned rear end sucks (don't ask how I know that)...

A manual Batt works on the bike, but that little button is a pain with gloves on.

I think it is a pressure switch. My 510 goes off from the bass at work but my 808 doesn't.

Hi Madness, I think you are safe with the V4L batts. I have never had one to activate with sound. I am sure some others will come on here that may know more than I do. Nice bikes. Be careful on them.

The way I believe I saw it explained, is there is a diaphragm that is moved when you suck on the cartomizer, which, in turn, activates the battery. They were at one time sound activated, but not anymore. An auto should be fine to carry with you.

BTW I am very envious, you have beautiful bikes there. I shall have one of my own as soon as I am a single woman again, not a single mom!

It's a vacuum switch (negative pressure actuation). That said - keep them away from magnets, because the pin in the switch can be lifted by the magnet and accidentally activate the battery
