Hey Everyone! Just got my new kit yesterday. I have the KR808D1 and have the automatic batteries as well the I received the manual USB. So I put my batteries on charge, they didn't seem to charge throughout the afternoon. I left them overnite. Now my problem is after playing with them all morning when I draw on either one I'm getting nothing or the juice which is burning my mouth up!! Sometimes I get lucky and will get the vapor but the juice comes out with it! I've used new prefilled cartomizers, I've opened up several different ones. They work great on the manual USB, which I love, however, I don't want to just sit here at my computer and vape!! So, what am I doing wrong? The instruction manual that came with this is not very clear at all!!

From my understanding, with auto batts, you need to do one or two short "primer" puffs, then a long one. This is to activate the sensor. Based on my reading on the forum, most experienced vapors use manual batteries for better control and battery life. GL

seriously though, it's just a better experience and although the button may seem like an inconvenience, it's not at all! you won't even notice it's there!

plus the battery won't die as often, or go off in your pocket. I've heard that even a loud noise can set automatic batteries off!

I have yet to hear a single positive comment about auto batteries.

I use a manual, and the level of control it gives is great!

The draw on auto batts is pretty specific. It's a long, slow light draw (just hard enough to light the LED and count to 2-3sec in your head)...with a couple quick primer puffs to get it going first. You shouldn't have to pull any harder than you would to suck liquid up a straw.

If you don't pull long enough, the atomizer doesn't have time to heat up enough to produce vapor. If you pull too hard, you just pull liquid into your mouth.

A lot of people want autos for the similiar feel to an analog, but for consistency and ease of use, I'd recommend manuals. You get over the button issue very quickly. When I pick up an auto now, I end up looking for the button. If playing with the draw doesn't help, you could have defective equipment.

My first kit included auto batteries. They were too finicky about the type of draw you need to fire them, they seemed to wear quickly, and there is no way to preheat your atty before a draw.

Re the prefilled cartos - occasionally in shipping some juice will get into the air channel of a carto. If you think there is juice in the air channel then remove it from the battery, pop out the soft cap (stick an unbent paperclip in just far enough to pop it out so you don't catch stuffing or wires) then point the open and down (into a tissue if you are indoors) and puff into the threaded end to clear the air channel. If any juice is pooled above the stuffing you could clean that up with a bit of folded tissue. I do the same thing when I add juice to cartos, as well as making sure the threaded end is dry and clean.

Have 12 batteries, all KR808. 2 are manuals and the only battery problem I am having is the button on the manual. I use prefilled, refilled and fill my own blank cartos and have not killed an auto battery yet. Key word is yet, from all I have read it seems to be inevitable, but not so far in 2 months....
My biggest issue with batteries in general is that some are way more 'airy' on the draw than others

Maybe OP needs to adjust the connection?

BTW is your PT 5v? If so, that is going to give a bigger hotter hit than a 3.7v battery.

maybe the op has a defective battery since when she sucks on just the battery the led DOES NOT light up.
send it back for replacement. I do agree..MANUALS are the only way to fly.

BTW... welcome to the forum sis and have a safe drive to Alaabama.
Don't forget to take your pass thru and car converter so you can huff all the way.

I had the same problem with a couple of my old auto batts. Had them replaced at no charge.

Oh my! I never came back and said thank you to all of you...'specially my biggy bro!! Soooooooo...it's been a month...Billy Boy tells me I'm not on here enough!
