Auto Spinner QC issue ? threading, hopefully isolated issue

Firstly I would like to thank SI for their fantastic stuff and CS, I have been a fan and repeat customer for almost two years now.

I recently purchased an Auto Spinner and a bunch of mini clearos and noticed that I have to block the two recesses with my fingers in order to get a proper draw. If I dont block the two recesses the batt will either, not fire or produces a very minimal airy draw.

I am assuming this is an improper 808 threading issue from the maunfacturer as I have gotten the same results with multiple mini clearos, and cartos. Is this a common issue, or done by design ?

I am wondering if anyone has had similar issues with this, as I would like to get another Auto Spinner and want to know if I can expect better results with a new batt.

On a related note: When I first started i purchased a starter kit, the silver 65mm it came with still works and seals very nicely. Every colored 65mm I have purchased thereafter is also a little airy but not in comparrison with my volt spinner.

I can live with the one I have now as it works nicely when blocked, but it would be better if I didnt have to do this when casually vaping.
