nice. which drip tip is that?
A fountain style drip tip that hit the ground too hard once.

With and without the top nib still attached.

One of my fave tips now, nice feel to it's smallness..
Yes I have a drip tip addiction....

That is a fantastic idea. The loose top cap has been my only problem with this atomizer in the couple days I've been using it. I was contemplating major surgery [a set screw opposite the air hole], but I'll definitely give this a shot first.Try removing the O-rings and then shim it using one of my favorite products Teflon plumbers tape. Take a length of tape, enough to go around once and roll it. Place in the groove and then replace O-ring. It won't take much to build it up so you'll have to play around. I just replied on another thread how you can use it to plug up an air hole to lessen an airy draw.
[Also, love the avatar. Abe brings back some great memories of playing Oddworld with my dad and laughing hysterically.]
Thanks for the heads up but I will hold out for one that matches my stainless egos, not a fan of chrome parts. I can
live with the chrome button collar on the ego only because I have no choice.

Important Note:
Please note very carefully that rebuildable atomizer coils and wicks have known risks.
Rebuildables are for experts, not average or beginner vapers with no multimeter or knowledge of how to use a meter, or when a meter must be used, or how electronic devices work. These materials cannot safely be used by the inexperienced or those without basic knowledge of electronics.
This is because:
1. A rebuildable coil/wick MUST be tested carefully with a meter before it is used.
2. If it is not tested it is entirely the risk of the user.
3. Faulty wicks/coils WILL blow electronic devices.
4. New coil/wick units must be tested and then used first on a strong basic electrical APV that has short circuit protection.
5. No new coil/wick assembly should be used on an electronic device until known to be safe.
6. These items destroy electronic devices if faulty. This is a known issue.
You do realize the air hole is two channels drilled into the base of the main body, right? One straight down below the wick and the other from the side to meet in the middle. The hole in the cover merely lines up with it. Maybe you already have the capability, but you'd most likely need a drill press and precise measurements to come in from the other side and hopefully meet the vertical channel under the wick. If you're just talking about enlarging the hole in the cover, then disregard everything I just said.Anyone made the air hole bigger in this yet? I noticed mine don't line up but also might need either a bigger one more another one.
Wow, little QC problem there I guess. *rolls eyes
Well at least it's aluminum and should be easy to drill one, lining it up will be the tough part. Or just return it, lol. Bummer.
