The only tank I have that matches it in flavor, vapor and TH is an AGA-S genesis style tank with a low ohm coil, and that's a beast in all respects. The Terminator is a close second, and although a DCT (with single coil carto) is producing much flavor and vapor, the Octo is in a class of it's own. Very clean vape with no interruption to flavor once a new wick and coil break in a little.

I don't know if you've ever direct-dripped before, but that's the ultimate vaping experience and this is essentially the same thing.

Quick question. How is the vapor production if used on an ego c twist? vs a tank system?

Most RBA's will out perform a tank depending on the type of tank... some use filler carto's and almost anything will out perform those IMO... I'm seeing pretty good reports on the Phoenix tank right now though... the Phoenix uses a bottom coil carto without filler. The nice thing about RBA's are how easily most will rebuild, certainly something any tank carto of any type can't say. These are also nice for testing and regularly changing e-liquids since you typically only have to rinse them out and perhaps a quick dry burn in order to ready them for another juice. Where a tank wins is in the capacity area...

If you are going to use any RBA on an eGo.... make sure to use a multimeter so you can check the coils and ensure you don't have any shorts.

i was just going to try the stock set up since this comes already preinstalled. would i still need to check it with a multimeter?

There is no way to tell if the factory had a QC issue or not without testing... higher end APV's have the option to test built in but the VV eGo's don't

can i get this without the factory air holes in the cap and the base. better yet can i get this with just one 3/32 air hole in the top cap and thats it

It comes as is, asking the factory to change it's design is something the vender would have to request.

Forgiven stupidness but can I use this on my ego C twist?

Yep but I would recommend a multimeter, or test on a VV/VW mod to check for usable ohm's before strapping to a twist. Just to makes sure any coil made hits it's mark.

So i would be checking resistance across the coils only correct?
