40 and smoked a pack a day for 20 years. Started three weeks ago with a starter kit for blu ecigs. That's because I had NO IDEA what was really out there till I began searching on the internet. I have been cigarette free for two weeks and got rid of the blu crap and switched to a Kanger protank 2, and I have a Innokin MVP2 with iclear30's coming in the mail. Love it!!!

1'm 62. Smoked about 45 years. Quit 3 times. Twice for about 1-1/2 years each time (late 20's and mid 40's). I was such a dumba$$ for ever starting back after such a length of time away from them. Anyway, I quit for the 3rd time this past June, when I started vaping.

I haven't had the urge for a cigarette for quite awhile, but I'm not going to celebrate until I've gone well past my previous "off" spans. This is a healthier alternative and actually more satisfying, so I should make it for good this time.

Here goes my first post! I'm right in the middle of the 30-50 range. I started vaping about 2 months ago to ween myself off of analogs, and it's now been 10 days since I've had a "real" cigarette. I honestly don't miss them at all! I'm really enjoying the vape. I just recently stepped up from the eGo starter kit to an iTaste 134 with the i30 and an Anyvape Davide BDC. HUGE improvement!!

Wow! Welcome and Congrats on your 'vaping journey! It only gets better and better. Oooooo, I want the iTaste 134! It looks sooooo cool.

3724, but thats not old...for a elf.

I really dont look a day over 2500 or so. Mostly cuz of the burritos. MMM BURRITOS.

I think younger folks have not been exposed to as much of the Tobacco culture that anyone over about 35 has seen: Smoking in movies, on TV, and even advertising on TV that was stopped in 1971, if I remember right. Look on YouTube, there is a commercial from when the Flintstones were still being broadcast in black and white TV, Fred is selling Winstons. Yes, Fred Flintstone was selling folks cigarettes.

So, it seems that some of the older (ok not old - just more growed up) folks will want to give up Tobacco for health reasons, and possibly the younger folks want to vape *instead* of taking up tobacco at all.

Tobacco is some seriously gnarly stuff as far as whats in it, what it does to you etc. Smoke is a very complex mix of chemicals, including stuff that could be similar to plastic and/or radioactive crap.

Started vaping Aug.5th on MVP 1. 6 days later went to lst vape meet and won the raffle and my backup....a ProVari! Stopped the analogs the day I started vaping. Two sealed cartons in cupboard. Have no urge to open them. Think will burn them in firepit at 1 yr anniversary and dance in thanks to whatever vapor gods are up there. Smoked 2+ pad for 53 yrs of my 69. I'm so-o-o-o delighted to be with you guys!
