Perhaps you could give me some English lessons. LOL You seem to be very clear talking. :) Any ohms coil can give dry hits. If the wick is not saturated or it becomes to gummed up to transfer juice to coil it can give a dry hit. Ratio of watts to the coil and not enough air/juice can give dry hits. There are many variables. Most Temperature Control units stops dry hits. They sence a dry wick and don't fire. There are a few of the first temperature control units that don't work well. I do tanks and never let my tanks go under half filled. I also change my coils every couple days to ensure wicking is always working at optimum. With dripping you just have to figure out how many hits you can take with how many drops of juice. It takes time to figure it out but other than a Temp Control unit there is no other way in my opinion. I very seldom get dry hits because I pay close attention to detail. Wife has both of hers on Temp Control because she vapes them dry then hands them to me and says they quit working.

Others could differ in their opinion and if someone has a sure fire way to never get a dry hit I would sure love to hear it. Thank you for the question.

CHEERS!

Lack of juice is the culprit. That can be caused by poor wicking, which can have any of several causes. Yes, too small an ID on the coil, too tight a wick, wick not properly laid for the particular topper.

Drawing too fast / too hard can cause the wicking to not be able to keep up.

Best way I've found to avoid them is, as Wheelie says, be observant. Get used to how your particular setup works for you. When in doubt, check your juice level.

Hello. I've ordered an RX200 mod with Tobeco Turbo V3 RDA. I haven't ever build a coil to dripping atomizer. I know dry hits, but is there any way to avoid dry hits when building a coil? Does smaller ohms value create dry hits with like 100W power? Hope you understand my post, english isn't my primary language :'D.

Temperature control.
