AVS Cleanig Question

Hi I normally clean the AVS with soap and water, but I notice some oxidation in the tank. Any recommendations on cleaning the AVS? I used vinegar and it works well, but just wondering why the oxidation happens and is it something to worry about.

All I know is don't soak it too long unless you want a camo tank I tend to wash mine then give it a polish and wipe down after. Vaso on threads probably reduces oxidation a bit too.

Mani, propylen glycol prevents aluminium tarnish. But if you notice something like that then you have to wipe the AVS well after you clean it with water. If you still see tarnish then polish it with autosol and then clean it as usual but very well with soap and water
