I just got 4 brand new AW 10440 and they're shorter than the trustfires so they don't work with my precise. Just an FYI for Precise owners.

Yes, AW's are unprotected and thus too short. I am considering designing a button just for use with the shorter AW batteries, if anyone would be interested in just a button.
David, would it be the entire switch assembly or just the center pin and button?
It should be just a 2 mm longer center pin IMO.

It would just be a drop in replacement button with a longer center post and add one additional oring in the tube.
Yeah, i'd be in for one or two.. i love protected batteries, but the aw is a better battery.
is there a benefit to using unprotected? I'm still new and still learning.

Are all AW batteries too short for all the Super T Precise models, including the Six? If so, we would need several buttons if we have several models, no?

No, the New P16 and P18 have an adjustable switch, so you can run the AW's no problem. I also spent my 30 hours on the road this weekend tossing around an adjustable brass contact for current precise 10440 owners. Still kicking it around in my craw.
