Hi guys I'm kind of confused when it comes to this:confused:, How can I know whats the lowest coil I can run by staying in the safe zone.
I have a mech mod running a Igo-w dual coil that was build by the shop owner not by me.
How can I find out whats the max watts it can give me.
For example: Lets say i build my own coil and it came out as .5 ohms how do i know if my battery can handle it?
Thanks in advance.

Well, 0.5 ohm is going to give 27 watts with a regular 3.7V battery. Way too high. So you might either kill the battery or the coil, or both. With that coil you would be vaping at 18 watts with 3 V.

The general equation is watts = volts*volts/ohms. Personally I would not go above 10 watts ever (I normally vape at 4-8 watts, depending on the head), but there are some that will push to 12 watts.
