hi david i ordered these about a month ago and i can't close the top of my precise with them in there. i switch out between them and the 18650, so i guess i'd have to pull the rubber O-ring out between changes?

the older blue batteries with the white top fit just fine leaving the O-ring in. I have a WF-138 switching charger that i've used with my other batteries, but the spring thing gets depressed with the odd size new ones and i have to use a RE magnet now to get the old ones to fit. Sometimes i get 1 green light one red on the charger and fiddle with them to go red, but when i take them off the charger they don't work in the precise. i know not to mix pairs.

if i order another set of these batteries, will they be the same longer dimensions?

old batteries white top= fit with O ring
new batteries black top= don't fit with O ring

thx david!

Not to my knowledge, maybe your old batteries are compressed down a bit, they do that over time (to be exact, the ends bend in a bit)

wish you had some older aw's to measure. i don't think they could be compressed because i only started using them in the precise a few months ago. with the new ones the precise top leaves a gap like the old ultra fire 18650 grays used to do. i'll just keep playing with my charger for now. some days it lights up both red and charges fine and the next time it won't.

thx david
