well a boat can be dragged through the desert for a few hundred miles only to be ditched in a ship graveyard. then cut up into scrap by scavengers for salvage or made into home furniture or a trophy.

i dont know what that metaphor reflects, but it somehow feels appropriate.

So you've met my ex...

lol, I actually laughed out loud at this. Amazing.

On topic, I am genuinely (with no bias) really impressed with the Triton. It actually puts out better vapor and flavor than the genuine Joyetech Ego Twists and Evods I used to have (that I sold), and that was with a lower ohm coil and the voltage turned up above 4. The Triton battery and tank are just made to work together so perfectly. Gonna buy 900 or 1300 mah batteries for sure... and of course several more bottles of Sub-Zero, as I do every month.

I agree machinestatic. Even tho I have other products, I use my Tritons everyday. I'm just partial to more power and longer lasting 1300mah's cuz I vape quite a bit. Even with 18mg ejuice, (I'm starting to go with 12mg now) I vape a lot. So when I 'like' something...I REALLY LIKE IT! LOL...wtg Halo! The 'Mighty Triton' prevails!

Right? The Triton just flat out works, day after day. No hunting for this clearo or this thingy. It's all engineered to vape together, and one stop shopping gets you everything you need, especially that cool liquid you put inside!

I have to agree, guys. This product is just insanely good. It just works. Not everybody is in the same boat as me, but I just like to vape. I don't want to fool with a bunch of crap, I just want to vape. I just snagged a 1300mah for extended vaping fun, too. I don't think about my coil, my tank, or any of that stuff. I just fill the tank and roll.

And I always have to throw it in at this point: you're supporting an American company with American employees. If everything didn't work as nicely, that wouldn't make much of a difference, but with quality products, it makes me a little happier knowing that.

Ahhh, the black 1300 mah batteries are out of stock! My debit card is burning a hole in my pocket.

That'd buy me a tobacco sampler or a 30 ml of Tribeca, with a little left over.... Since that card's burning up your pocket.

I know there was a thread once that showed the size of the different batteries - but I can't find it. How big is the 1300 compared with the vv, anyone?

I'm looking for that one, too, but I haven't found it yet. If I remember none of them were more than 20mm different from one another. It will be a noticeable bump from the 900, but not outrageous. If I find it, I'll post it.

I'm bringing this thread back from the dead because after living with my Tritons for a while I've realized I HAVE to buy some of the variable voltage batteries ASAP. Going to buy a couple in black on Monday. ;)

The Tritons have been really great thus far, but because they're unregulated I've found that I can distinctly tell when the voltage drops. After a fresh charge they're a perfect vape, but I find myself swapping to a new battery LONG before it dies, otherwise my satisfaction noticeably drops. I think the VV batteries will make me much happier because I'll be able to set them at 4-4.2 volts and use them for their full charge.

With that said, I totally understand that most ex-smoking vapers would be happy with these. But I will admit that even after vaping for years I STILL crave (and allow myself to have) a cigarette every once in a while. So for me, it makes sense that I'm not 100% happy unless I'm vaping 24mg juice above 4 volts. But otherwise, like I said, I'm totally in love with my Halo gear and shopping experiences.

Thanks for reading my ramblings.

Yeah, with the standard coils you'll find you likely get some burning at 4.2. If you want to go that high you should get the higher resistance coils also from Halo, imo:p

I think Machinestatic likes it hot. He'd be better with the lower resistance coils. (he likes sub zero, IIRC)

And it makes sense, since he only likes the top part of the discharge, giving 4.2 to 4 v.

Machine, the only thing is the VV at best lasts as long as a 650mAh regular, as the VV circuitry takes capacity away to run. Still should be better than only using 30% of the discharge like you say.

I totally think the VV is well worth it, especially to a seasoned vaper.

Of course, soon as you order, Halo will come out with a hardware Valentine's Day sale.

Makes sense! I was having visions of burned Belgian Cocoa LOL But, yes, I turn my voltage up for Tribeca, but down for custards. Haven't really got into menthols!

Diva, a 1300VV must be huge, no?

That's why I had to get a 1300 VV. I vape a lot also. I like a warmer vape too, since I vape a lot of tobaccos and coffee flaves.
