Yes, seems it is for lp not the standard cup like is on mine. While it can be changed, not knowing at the time I tried to make it work.

No currently I'm not, I need to send it in to Rob and have him mill down the base a bit. Will be honest tho it still puzzles me as to why it won't work when it does fit inside the cup. I do plan on sending it in as soon as I can.

I do have the A7 mini now which works on it.
