Standard n00b here. Just started vaping seriously a few weeks ago. Tried blu's for a while a couple of years ago and they just didn't do it for me. A buddy showed me his little PV and while he admits to using it only when he can't have a smoke, I thought I'd look into it. Holy Vapors Batman! Started with Joyetech Ego-C VV and nifty little Vision atomizer. I've smoked a cigarette only when the batteries were dead, cause let's face it, there is a learning curve here, and n00b's make mistakes. Switched to a Boge F-16 tank yesterday. God I love it. More vapor, better hit, and less refilling. I do have a question... and a problem. I'd post this in the Batteries forum but since I am n00bish, I need to post more before can play with the big boys, (and girls).

Question: Can my Ego-C Upgrade batteries handle my Boge F-16 tank/cartomizer or should I upgrade, (sooner than later)? The battery life seems to have gone from 1 1/2 days down to a few hours since I switched to the tank.

PROBLEM: One of my Ego-C Upgrade batteries is... well... constantly on. No LED, plugged into charger and the LED doesn't flash, but when you screw an atty onto it... hold on as she starts gurgling and vaping the moment contact is made with the battery contacts. Unscrew it and she stops vaping. No amount of presses or holding the button in changes anything with the battery, and no LED flashes or lights. Any ideas for either my question or problem? Thanks all! (maybe now I can quit stalking the forums.)

Its most likely fried, dispose of it. Same thing happened to me when I foolishly tried running a very low ohm coil on it (0.7 ohms). Even took the battery apart trying to fix it, the internal circuit board was hosed.

Your eGo should be able to handle any carto tank just fine. However... If you've caught the vaping bug then prepare yourself to want to upgrade in the near future :)

Stuck buttons on those eGos are not unheard of and there is a fix, I'll try and find a link for you. Although if you can get it replaced under warranty then definitely do that.

Also, if you're in southern Indiana there is a meet this weekend in Louisville. I live near Louisville and am a little excited to meet a few local folks who are into this exciting new.. I hate to say hobby.. how about exciting new alternative to sucking down stinkies :p

Welcome to ECF and congrats on discovering the world of vapor.

You folks are faster at responding than this wifi connection at loading the site! Thanks for the advice and welcome. So far I have been dealing locally since I can actually look at the items I am interested in and get a hands-on feel for everything. Sadly I may have to go out of town or order online for my upgrades. I am loving the juices I find locally though. Dealer just has a small selection when it comes to the hardware.

Welcome to ECF...lots of good advice and info here...I know I've benefited from the experiences of others and saved time and money in the process...the upgrading process doesn't take long to take hold...I've went from cigalikes to eGo -T's, to an eGo MOD, and just ordered a Vamo V2...been through a selection of DCT's, UDCT's, clearos, juices, etc...it doesnt take long at all....lol
