I won't kiss and tell, but I heard today about a Brick and Mortar store that charges customers to test their juices that they sell. I was a bit dumb founded by this when I heard it. I understand its like so much per 10 or 15 minute sessions. To taste test what you might like to buy !!

What do you folks think about that ?

I don't see how this is any different from online vendors that do not send out free samples. Technically. From a customer stand point I get it, but then I bet you shop online with vendors that do not give you a free sample with your orders right?

Don't get me wrong, I am not disagreeing with you. The point I am trying to make is that if these vendors want to help boost their reputation more quickly, they can do so by giving out free samples with each order. Same as the B&M's allowing you to come in and try out their liquids for free. :)

They don't have to give out free samples but should allow you to try what they have if not certainly not charge to try it. If they are set up to try juices it should be free. Common sense should tell them it will increase sells if people like what they have.

I don't think I would patronize a shop that would charge money to use the juice bar to sample their flavors.

I would them not even have one and simply say they don't offer samples at this time.

I have 4 different vape shops within 25min driving from my house. All offer free juice bars to try their flavors. They also have lounges to hang out with other vapors and 3 if them have tv's with sports going. I guess I'm lucky where I live.

Nobody has to do anything. I wasn't insinuating otherwise. :)

Its nice when they do but Im not to out of sorts if they dont. Fore sure I might buy something I normally wouldn't if I can try them. But its not my business to run. I dont think I would pay 10 dollars for 15 min. But I have payed 1000 for an hour;-)

LOL... thats got to be some mighty high class stuff !! :w00t:

Well, I figured most of you would think the same as I did when I heard that. The juice is the big money maker in a B&M shop if they make their own.

My first thought was that of a family of really fat folks going to the local Buffet resturant and cleaning their clock with all the food that they ingest ( we have all seen this)......Who knows, Maybe they had a customer or two that would go "hang out" and vape their juices and never buy anything.

I have visited a local shop the last two Saturdays spending a couple of hours there each time as a "Hang around" ( which they dont mind me doing). I noticed on average, after folks go to the testing bar, they will either buy one juice and leave or three juices and leave. Its pretty interesting. All the juices are in Iclear 16's and the folks behind the counter say the same thing over and over...."dont feel like you have to buy anything, enjoy yourself and test out some juices" I really like that. They seem to move a lot of product due to thuis attitude.

Regardless, I wont ever go to that shop I heard about that charges to test their juices .

100% agreed its nice to feel more like a guest rather than a customer. I buy a bottle of juice if nothing else when I visit a vape shop.

My local vape shop does not charge to sample their juices but it wouldn't bother me much if they did. I would still patronize them, I just wouldn't sample any of their juices. There are plenty of other places I can get juice. It's their business if they want to charge for samples. It's my business whether I want to pay for those samples.

No big deal really.

I have two stores near me that sample their juices for free and I prefer that as it allows me to buy in confidence. I end up buying flavors that I never would have considered if I had not been able to try first. I think the owner doesn't realize how sampling can not just endear them but drive increased sales. I do think that it would be reasonable to charge 10-25cents for the disposable tasting tip. I think I have about 20 now yet never have one on me when I go in.
