Back again. Help?

Some of you may remember me from previous threads. I'm a logger looking to find a pv with long battery life and a good amount of durability.
I have been using a joye510 for several weeks and am very happy with it. The vapor and TH is more than I'd hoped--kudos to the gals at Cygnot--they did me right. I'm still using a few analogs but only because I'm using my stockpile. I truly believe I'll be quite content making the switch to vaping full-time.
That said, the 510's won't get the job done during my workday which consists of 9 frantic chaotic hours of trying to produce more than is humanly possible. That is the life of a logger.
I don't have time to tinker with my pv swapping out batteries.
That said, I've strongly considered the Ego, but I don't like the idea of the proprietary batteries. Nevertheless, It seems like a good unit.
Better choices, within my limited realm of knowledge, would seem to be the Chameleon, Silver Bullet or Chuck. However, from what I've read, they are a bit large for packing around in your shirt pocket. Suggestions?

You could get one of the ones you mentioned and get a lanyard for it?
Pretty sure one of the models MAKE a lanyard - but I might be crazy and have imagined that part
I know I've seen lanyards and those mods mentioned in the same sentence though.

A Little Chuck should work well for you if you are concerned about size. Runs a 16340 battery or 18530 all day. I love my Chucks and Little Chucks! Highly recommended.

I guess you don't get smoke breaks at all, right?
Because if you did, that is way more time that switching out a battery from a PCC now and then.

Anyway, the bigger the battery, the longer it will last.
Can you put it on the seat beside you instead of your pocket?

You might want to get the tornado from totally wicked or the ego from janty. They are the same thing, but they are out of stock at janty and totally wicked only has the white ones in right now.

The battery life is anywhere from 8-12 hours (even heard longer) I got mine yesterday and it lasted me from 1pm till 11pm and it was still going when I went to bed and I was home vaping all day. All you need to buy is an adapter that they sell too, so you can charge it with your 510 charger. It works with the 510 atty and carts. It's so nice not to have to charge all day.

I run a skidder dragging trees down mountainsides to a landing where a processor cuts them into logs and shoots them into a pile where a loader will put them on a log truck ready to haul them to the mill.
Running a skidder is similar to monster truck competition--that is the kind of terrain I spend my day on. Not worn-out cars of course, but coming down over rock shelfs, huge old-growth stumps, etc.
Nothing on the seat or the dash will stay there for long, I assure you.
It is a unique occupation where keeping the machine upright(as opposed to on its side) is a prime objective.

I think he means that the Ego/Tornado battery is only available from where they are sold, whereas the batteries for other mods are much more common and available from many places at much cheaper prices.

My suggestion is a Bartleby with an adapter to use cartomizers and a cigarette lighter passthru.
I don't know what any of that means, but I'm pretty sure Kent C can tell you all about it.

Nope, just north of you about 70 miles outside of Colville.

As a Logger you would need a device that's super-tough, I come from a family of Cedar/Shake Rats from the coast. I know all about working in the woods, and love being out in the big wood.

Doesn't the price of the ego batteries put you off a bit. Aren't they like--pushing $20.00? Mod batteries of the same size are a fraction of that from what I've read. Not so hard to handle if your dealing with Janty and their great warranty, but TW seems to be getting a rotten reputation as far as standing behind their stuff.
Bear in mind I'm just speaking from what I've read, if I'm wrong--my bad.

I've heard bad stuff about TW and their 5 packs of the tornado. I think it's because they are cheaper that way. There is a warranty on the single ones (1 month I think). This is the second time I have purchased from them and no problems yet. If you want a kit or a single I think you will be fine. Just not with the 5 packs. They state the warranty on the website.

As per your suggestion, I've read and read and read and.......well. you get the picture. After all that reading, I still have a long way to go to understand even half of what there is to know about vaping.
I do like what I've read about the chameleon and this may be the way I go. Its so hard to know and at a $100.00 a shot (more or less), you can't afford to make mistakes (or I certainly can't). Thats why I'm here annoying you folks that are more knowledgeable about this subject than I am.

It's plastic, it could break, you could easily lose it in the equipment during the trip down the hill.... $50, not $135 down the drain.

Seriously, the 14500 batt will last you all day, esp. if you're really busy. You could take along an extra battery but you will have to do that for almost anything else short of using a Kensington power pack.

I'd put it in this leather case, along side a 3ml bottle of your favorite ejuice:

The magnet flap is real nice for easy opening but stays close otherwise. Clip for belt or pocket which also swivels. Hard shell protects. Have Jay slice down the on/off switch - he then will file ridges back in - but always turn off when carrying - another nice feature - the on/off switch... that is rare in mods.
