Back again ... With a new Unit :D

I was here briefly last month getting info on e cigs.
I brought some PG and Mint Choc Chip Flaour, and my e cig arrived a few days later.
I Charged it, put it together and took a drag ... battery got blazing hot and the unit smelt of burnt PCB ... something had shorted

Turned out id fried the PCB and battery compartment, so i tried to make a passthrough ... ad failed ... the solder wouldnt stick to the contacts ... id thrown the batt out, so i was soldering to the atty ... i ended up killing it ... it just wouldnt work

SO then i was left with 10 carts, 100ml PG, and a few ml's of flavour.

I contacted DealExtreme, they said send the unit back to xxx address if it costs under $5 ... i told them it would cost $11 ... (that was true, but id also thrown the batt and atty away, i didnt tell him that ) ... they then told me to throw away the defective item and a new one would be shipped out from HK ... it arrived within 3 days !

The communications process took about 3 Weeks

Anyway my e cig is here, and im loving it ... comes with a USB charger, Wall Charger and Car charger. One Atty, One Batt and 10 Carts ... I have 10 from the defective product, so in all i have 20

Took apart one cart, filled it with PG and Mint Choc Chip Flavour ... tastes Ok ish ... a bit burnt though

I like carts atht came with it ... tastes kinda sweet ... however ive added a couple of drops of PG to the cart ... just for the 'more vapour' effect.

Ive been of normal Cigs all day now ... i guess its just the habit of holding one and seeing the smoke that made me smoke. ... but well see where it goes from there.

the battery seems to last about 30 mins after a 30 min charge ... ive got it in for 5 hours (initial charge) ... then ill see how long it lasts then.

Dealextremes e cig is good ... very light drag activates the atty, take a hard drag and it makes the atty hotter ... producing more vapour. I can take a 3 - 5 secod drag with the atty getting warm to touch. SO its fairly good

If you like you brand..great! Get more atty's and batts right now. Those things can die in an instant. Filling carts is smart and a better deal. Now you need a couple more flavors. Try to find a sampler, so you can tell what you like and don't like. here's one thread about samples: Who sells sampler sets of juice? (

The burnt taste is primer fluid burning off, keep the cart topped off and put a drop or so on the atty to help with the taste. It will burn off soon enough.

Great ! This Chinese brand is a M401 replica apparently, so i know that ill need to look into M401 batts and attys soon.
Bit pricey at £7.99 an atty, and £7.99 for batteries too ... my whole kit :-
1 batt
1 Atty
10 Carts
Wall + Car+ USB charger

cost me $14.50 from dealextreme. ... thats about £9.00.

I sure hope that the burning taste goes soon, its starting to irritate my throat

Thanks for that link, but all the stores seem to be in the US, im in the UK, I actually order from ebay, £3 for a 3.5ml bottle of Lorannes Oils(thats with shipping). Expensive, but my only option at the mo.
