I initially tried vaping about 2 years ago and it didn't stick so went back to analogs. I just purchased an ego double kit last week from e cigarette impressions and am blown away by how much better vaping is now. I smoked my last analog 2/18/12 and am actually satisfied with just vaping. I just ordered a smok tank and some parts for ego t and look forward to receiving these. Happy to be smoke free!

Welcome back. I been smoke free for about 4 months now. Not sure of the date cause I tried to quit so many times its like why bother. This time it stuck. Im rolling a Provari and have yet to find the cats meow, as far as what works best with it, but I have a tank on the way. Darn holiday. Should be here tomorrow though. Along with with some new flavors.

I can already say a few things. Flavors get old fast, and I still have days where I want to light up but I just keep fighting it off. Im so vested that I better. Today was hard. I think its cause im loosing interest in vape all together. Something works for a few days then I need something new. Hope the tank works out.

Congratulations and welcome back!
Same here. Was out if the fold for a few years, although I still vaped where I couldn't smoke, sometimes gave up smoking for a few days or a week here and there, but always went back to smoking.
Fast forward..... Been back for a few months now and wow, how things have changed! I have now kicked the analog habit completely and without craving once, and I was a super addicted 30 year smoker! The new suff available now, just doesn't compare to the old mini ecigs. Plus, juices have come a long way too.

I too started back on the eGo-T, then after a bit I bought a couple of mods which I am happy with; Provari, VV Box Mod, RoughStack and a new SD MKII because my version one was so old and falling apart.

Ditto. I tried it several years ago too. Has it been 2 years? I didn't like it then and went back smoking. Then I took a peek last year and lo and behold, I was surprised to see the variety and selections available. I was fortunate to choose the right product for me. Gave up smoking since August 2011. I don't think I'll ever go back smoking but I'm not sure if I'll ever come to quit nicotine.

i enjoy vaping a lot but it seems i am vaping almost nonstop. it seems to take a lot more vaping to get the satisfaction i got from analogs. I think it will be quite a while before i give up nicotine.
I had that problem at first, so I upped my nic and got low resistance cartomizers. Whoooo buuuzzzzzzzzzz!!! Lol
Also don't worry one iota about your non stop vaping in the beginning. It will even out. Just concentrate on getting free forever of the stinky monkey that used to ride our backs, then you can worry about your vaping habits a little later.
Well that's my 2 cents anyway, and it worked for me.

What nicotine level are you using right now? I stopped lighting analogs the same day as you did, and I'm also vaping a lot... but not so much because of the need for the nicotine but because I'm just enjoying vaping. Now, mind, I started vaping a couple weeks before stopping analogs completely, so I discovered very quickly that for me, I need lower-nic flavors just to enjoy the flavor of, and higher-nic tobacco varieties to get that cigarette-like satisfaction... and so by the time I quit lighting up, I was (somewhat) prepared for that.

Right now, I'm using 16-18 for those vaping benders, 24 to get a quick nic-boost when I feel as though it's needed. I'm still playing around with the PG/VG combo that's "right" for me to get the right mouth-feel from vapor that's comparable to what I got from smoke, but I'll get that down eventually.

I'm already about 90% sure that I'm going to be a heavier vaper than I was a smoker, and this is mostly because I love the flavor options. ;) Of course, I was about a 1.5 PAD smoker, so you probably can assume my PV's right there most of the day.

It's completely doable. Just moderate those nic levels, taper off gradually, don't rush anything, and realize you're going to be detoxing from the other weird crap for a while.

Oh, one more thing: if you continue to experience a serious lack of whatever-that-oomph was that kept you smoking, consider trying a whole tobacco alkaloid juice. I'd personally avoid it as I'm trying to eliminate everything but the nicotine right now, but what it is is a juice which is extracted from whole tobacco and which has some of the other non-nicotine tobacco alkaloids as well as the nicotine itself without bringing the tar and other contaminants/paper contaminants along with it... and it's entirely possible that you're missing the presence of one of those alkaloids. Doing this all in baby steps is still an improvement over the stinkies. :)

Just an update.
I have gone completely overboard again. I have well over 1200ml's of e juice. I now have 9 full ego's, 2 lavatubes, and just bought a provari. I have over 100 new blank boge cartos in standard and low resistance. I have more than 10 tanks with half of them unopened. I have what will be my 3rd lavatube on order from apollo in stainless and am now staring at the Super T Preciseplus from super t on my screen convincing myself I need it. I am vaping between 7 and 9ml's a day 18mg. Noone ever said that vaping would save me money, just my life. no more analogs.

Sounds like me a few months ago hehe... I have enough supplies to last me a few years at least! Thank goodness my
spending has tapered off now.
