I have a question regarding flavoring. I have three 7 oz bottles of Back Bay Trading Co. Flavouring Anyway, the ingredients for the Natural Almond Flavoring says: Contains water, propylene glycol, and oils of almond. I bought these bottles for a buck each a couple of weeks ago at one of the local discount stores (before I even thought about vaping and DIY). So, my question is...are these ingredients suitable for e-liquid flavoring? I tried to search the forum, but saw nothing about Back Bay.

I think my only concern would be the oil extract and it's end concentration of the finished product. I try to stay away from oil-based flavorings. I've read a lot on the concerns about vaping oils, taken for what it's worth, of course. I personally stay away from oil-based, mostly because I've found enough oil-free alternatives, but not necessarily the sole fact that it's oil-based.

+ 1 on this. Oils are atty crushers. They gunk up the atty. Not sure about the concentrations you have but I would read the DIY stickies since there is a boatload of info about flavorings and which ones work well. Most of my collection of 75 flavorings are Perfumers Apprentice and I mix at 9 - 15% depending on recipe and I have not blown an atty in 8 weeks.

I just checked out their website. I would not use the almond one and the others look like you would need a large amount to transmit any flavor in a DIY juice. Head over to One Stop DIY and place an order far a few 6ml bottles they are only $1.40 each and they have a huge selection with fast shipping

Thanks for the info all. I picked them up because they were 7 oz bottles and so inexpensive. I just bought them for baking purposes. I did not have vaping in mind at the time. But since I started vaping I had been looking around in the DIY section and saw the oil base info, but was not sure exactly what "oils" meant eg. natural, artificial etc. I looked at the ingredients on the bottle and thought hey, this flavoring could serve a multipurpose. Thanks for your input. I'll stick to baking with it.

The banana and vanilla extract seem usable, but I would avoid the others. The almond oil may or may not have the actual oils in them. While actual almonds contain the literal biological lipids which are similar to cooking oil, the flavoring might not have them. If they have nutrition facts that contain any fat content, that would be a good clue.
