I don't know anything, but I do know that I don't want to take any unnecessary chances with my health. It's bad enough that we're on the leading edge of this vaping craze and are guinea pigs without making it worse by using ingredients that we don't know if they're harmful.

I'm having a reaction just from the smell of the TPA oils and I know that I'm sensitive to many things that others aren't. That's one reason I decided to DIY but I have to admit, the more I learn the more I realize how much I don't know. I'm being very careful what I vape and so far have only made very basic flavors that have been tried by others. Since I don't have a background in chemistry I won't use nic levels over 36mg and buy only from the vendors that sell product specifically for vaping. Maybe I'm being overly cautious but until I know what I'm doing I would rather not take chances.

LOL I read a thread where someone was using marshmallows as an atty filler!!!! DUMB!!!!

BTW... Spice Barn said they do not have the resources to segregate safe flavors... so beware.

OK useless info time (sorry)
Oil based flavors are used in chocolates so if you are on a candy flavor site make sure you are not looking at the flavoring for chocolate. You can not add a water based flavor to your chocolate without it seizing up on you....

Again sorry for the useless info but thought I would mention it just in case it is not useless...LOL

I think I read some where on this forum about oil molecules being bad for your lungs but I can not remember what thread I read it in, now EO apparently are not a true oil (I can totally see this dealing with oils in different cosmetic applications) so it is not the same as inhaling hot oil molecules... I can be wrong but I think that was the thing I read broken down....

So Can Anyone Tell Me Why Soy Is Bad???

The truth is you most likely won't inhale the oil because the smoke point for most oils is higher than atty temperature (about 170-200C at core). Even if you did, it would break down and the fatty acids would leave residue on your atomizer. It probably isn't bad for you in small amounts but it will gunk up your atomizer and be very difficult if not impossible to remove.
