Hello
Been vaping for the last 24 hrs a 100%VG nic salts by kai virgin vapor. .
I really wanna do the switch and tired of smoking and the nasty side effects.

Since yesterday I have been feeling like my back muscles are tight. No pain, but I feel like a need a massage. This happened to me too last time I tried to switch to vaping.

What could this be ? Should I just tought it out ? Anybody exer experience this ?

Hola,

What device are you using? Are you vaping MTL or DTL?
what is the nicotine level of your juice? Brand and flavour?
Have you tried non salt based juice?
Prior to 24 hours ago, had you been smoking cigarettes?

MAX VG or greater makes me wheeze and it feels like someone is sitting on my chest. I DIY with 70% Vg and a max of about 7% flavour. No additives or sweetener in my freebase 6mg/ml juice.
Retail juice is far far too sweet.

Cheers

Could well be slight Dehydration.

Try Drinking More Water. And putting some Extra Salt on a Bag or French Fries or something.

IMO, anything over 70% VG is too thick for a pod to wick efficiently.
I would reduce the nicotine content to about 30mg/ml and shoot for a PG content of about 30%.

I cant do any PG, i tried and i get pins and needles type of pains in my lung. I also tried a MOD but its too much vapor for me and I get ear pains.

the 100% VG from Kai is diluted with water and flavoring so its not that thick and its made for pod systems. My coils are fine.

Didnt go away and it's bad honestly. I think I'm just gonna smoke a cig..

Honestly, I think you should try a freebase nicotine, with less nicotine...

I quit using a small ego battery and clearo vaping under 2ml of 18mg per day.

I had some withdrawal symptoms, but counted it as part of the switch and powered through...

While you very well might be having some kind of reaction to vaping, it could be due to your choice of ejuice so try skipping the salts and go for a lower nicotine content (like 18mg) and see if that is helpful for your back and breathing...

it's sometimes and for some people a matter of finding the right combination of ingredients that works best. Allergies happen, so don't count it out before trying to find the exact source of the problem.

You can use freebase nicotine, you can try an unflavored ejuice, there are many options to try and see if you just aren't agreeable to some particular ingredient that you can simply remove from the equation.

I tried everything. Every vape device. Every juice, every PG/VG ratio, every nicotine level, salt nic, freebase nic, everything you can imagine. I spent about $1000 trying different options.

Everything gives me side effects I cant deal with. Ears pains and clogged ears, or chest pains, or killer sore throat, or back pain.

I give up. I'm smoking again and will just give cold turkey a real shot soon.

I think theres lots of potential to vaping, but I dont think we are there yet. Something in these liquids my body just cant take. I dont have these side effects with smoking.

Only side effect is I dont have a great cardio

I'm sorry to hear that... not every thing works for every individual and vaping is no different, so it is what it is...

I hope you can manage cold turkey or through patches someday. I wish you all the best.
