Back on the wagon... observation

Okay, so I haven't had an analog since my 6 analog breakdown last week. Yay me. So anyways, I am currently a cashier at a grocery store. People bring in cloth bags from home to put their groceries in. I have noticed that I can immediately tell if they're a smoker. It kind of shocked me because before I don't think I could have known without sticking my whole head in the bag. But now, all I have to do is start to open it. Guess the old sense of smell is making a comeback after all.

Good to hear you're back at it. Yeah, it's the little things that get your attention. I keep detecting smells at different locations and walking around what the heck is that?!? Nice how it doesn't take too long to regain it all.

I have decided there are some smells humans were not meant to take in full doses.
we live in the country and the smell of manure is one of those....also skunk...not good!! LOL

That can be the downside to vapeing. I now really smell the litter boxes After I started smoking, I opened a bag and almost passed out. Whew, that smell. It had been in my car for a long time and I smoked a lot in my car. The odor just clung to that bag.

I went through my clothes when we moved a couple of months ago, some stuff I hadn't worn since I was smoking. I rewashed every single thing that was hanging up, was a good 6 loads of laundry. Made me feel sick.
Now my mother in law laughs when someone comes into work and I comment how they smell like smoke.

Its amazing to me that something that seemed so appealing to me a month ago, now turns my stomach and makes my head hurt.

Can of dog food went "kaplooey" in the mud room (pop top popped). Wife and I thought it was one of our two new dogs having not quite made it outside, so it cooked a few days before we tracked it down properly -- boogers, time to rebuild that storage section (it soaked nicely into the boards during the hot spell)

Glad you are finally getting your smells back! I noticed after a couple months of vaping that I was able to smell again! It is amazing how analogs can really take away your sense of smell.
