I quit 5 weeks ago and started vaping. Analogs smell so nasty to me now that I can't imagine lighting another. I have a friend that just quit on Tuesday and he is in sad shape. I told him to go get a rig and start vaping that it really helped me. His rationalism is that he would be trading one for the other. I asked......and? Hope he has better luck than I did the 1,000+ times I tried it like he is. I just told him that if he ever wanted, I would take home to the B&M I go to and hook him up. I only wish someone had done that for me a long time ago and I would have quit much sooner....immediately in fact. This has been such an eye opener for me that I don't see why anyone would try the cold turkey, white knuckle approach at all. Not when there is something that actually works and has left me feeling like a champion and not a wreck! Anyway, all of you keep after it and Vape on! Thanks for listening. :headbang:

I quit smoking 2 years ago. Like you the day I started vaping I never looked back. Except for changing tastebuds I loved everything about vaping.

Then THE tornados hit Alabama, we didn't have electricity for 2 weeks. I managed to continue vaping because I had 10 batteries for the first week. Then I charged them in my car until I got down to 1/2 tank and I just needed to conserve gas incase of an emergency. All my batteries went dead and I had to turn to analogs.

When I first smoked that first cigarette pack, I had to choke everyone of them down. It was so gross. I couldn't wait for electricity to come back so I could vape again. After another week of analogs I was use to the taste by then, so when I could charge my batteries I went back to vaping and could NOT stand any of my juice flavors. Nothing I tried tasted right AT ALL.

The first year after I periodically tried to go back to vaping and couldn't stand the flavors. Now at the 2 year mark and I am finally vaping again but it is still a struggle. I smoke about 2-3 analogs a day still. I am still trying to find THAT one flavor that makes it easy to put analogs down. A good "All Day Vape" flavor like I use to have.

I don't know why it was so easy to quit that first time but I do know if your ever in the same situation I was in. You can't just pick it back up. Your tastebuds change and your flavors you like change. I was 4-5 months into vaping and that far along in my vaping journey. You have to start all over if you have to smoke again.

Advice have plenty of batteries charged. LOL
And maybe keep a few of these charged to recharge your batteries Amazon.com: 2600mah Portable External Power Bank Battery Charger for Iphone 4 4s 5 Samsung I9300 I9500 Mega HTC (Black): Electronics

I'm a three and a half year vaper. When I switched to vape, I was surprised how easy it was, though I still missed my analogs. Still, I didn't hit on an analog for about 6 months. Then, when out with a few friends, I did finally bum one, my old brand. Really amazed at how good it was--just like I'd never quit, and I enjoyed it. Since then, I've probably averaged about one analog a month, which I've continued to enjoy. But my vape is much more satisfying, so there is no danger of me going back full time.
