I had that same urge, that's why I bought the nano. Now that I've been at it for awhile I won't make that mistake again! I'm using an Atlantis Evo and I'm satisfied with it. I did buy that in the vape store because I hated the melo tank. There are a lot of Atlantis styled/compatible coils. It does have a large drip tip but is 510 drip tip compatible so I took the melo drip tip and put it on the Atlantis Evo tank. Before choosing a tank what kind of draw are you looking for? The Evo is pretty airy but the more narrow drip tip helped tone it down. I'm personally in the market for a RTA now, I received a coil building tool kit for Christmas.
I'd love that. I can't find them anywhere anymore.I have a box of old protanks and protank accessories... (see what I did there?)
Anyway, would be happy to donate to the cause. I'd have to dig them up and throw them in the ultrasonic cleaner, but no biggie
I don't really get the terms people use like mouth or lung hits etc. So let me just explain what I do and like. I smoke cigs a bit differently than vaping. Cigs I draw into my mouth first then inhale. Vaping I draw really long mostly because I seem to need to and that mouth to lung part doesn't work. So with vaping most goes straight to my lungs.
I don't like the melo when it's really airy. I feel like I am drawing on an extremely light cig. In the other hand the protank when it starts to get clogged is like sucking on a collapsed straw. I want something in between with some resistance but not too much. With a fresh coil the protank is perfect. I had a few protank where I took a small round file and made the airholes bigger. That worked too but I can't find them. Nor can I find the file.
I'll probably just live with the protank until I can find something else. I'm pretty sure I'm looking for single coil and bottom filling. Adjustable airflow would be good too. Wish someone just made a chart of all the tanks.
As it is this morning I am frustrated with vaping problems, keeping batteries always charged so I don't have the urge to smoke when one isn't working and this bitter taste so I am smoking. Feel like a failure. Sigh such is life. I'll try again later this morning.
Also is there some kind of adapter that I can use ego threaded tanks on the I stick? I have an evod tank somewhere.

you will want enough spare batteries to have a full charge battery bitter taste.. Has it always been there or only after vaping a bit through the tank. I wasn't completely off cigs til I worked to rebuildable want to say kayfun was my first rta but wasn't a great dl vape for me among other things. My motivation was also cost taste driven as most premade juice from shops have a lot of sweetener so gunks up coil fast that can cost a lot in prebuilt drop in coils
It seems like the bitter taste comes and goes. I'll have to notice if it's better on a full charge. Today it's not so bad.

I found a 510 tank in my box of old stuff. I put it on the istick and am running it at 3.3 watts. The flavor seems to be the best there. I think it's a protank 2 not the mini. I'd post a picture but I can figure out how.
I just looked up a picture of the protank 2 and it's not that. This does not have a replaceable drip tip or kangers printing on the tank. Maybe it's a knock off. Who knows what I bought years ago.
Ive found the best battery for the pro tank is the ego twist And when i used to use an istick the nautilus mini worked well at five volts but i know Most peoples Sweet spot on an istick is 3.3 volts as otherwise it tastes vient out. This is one reason i prefer higher resistances an wattage cos devices such as the istick cant handle it. I guess the pico 75 watt could but im not a fan of any products of eleaf an ive tried a few.
Oh an the evod wont fit, you need an ego ce4, ce5 etc... anyway deffo try the nautilus mini with your istick or also the gs air tank Looks perfect
