What (if anything) do you use for a backup in case your device is dead?
I have a SmokTech SID and have 2 batteries with a charger, extra coils for the AeroTank, plenty of juice.
But, what about when you are away from home and the coil goes out?
Or, it simply refuses to fire?

Point here is to convince the wife that I need a backup. I'd really like to get a LavaTube!

I'd like to convince you NOT to buy a Lavatube, but it's not going to happen... I am a realist.

Overpriced nonsense - unless you can get a deal from an independent. (I have one actually.. :) )

Away from home, my back up?...I don't have one... the SID doesn't come to work with me. I have my friends V Spinner and i Taste as my work colleagues.

:)

I have far too many back up's, plus if im at work and something stops working there is a e-cig kiosk right in front of my store, and 4 e-cig stores on the 10 minute ride home. If im out and about and vaping the wife is with me and I will just puff on her set up till I get home. If she isn't with me I don't have a chance to vape while wearing my helmet so it's no big deal.

Extra liquid, tanks, itaste vv v3 (x2), minimag light to carry the vv's, itaste universal USB charger, 2 spare coils for the tanks. All in a art box from Vaultz. I take it every where and it takes up less room than a carton of cigs. :D Like folks say around here, "Back up your back ups!"

And remember this...please see signature below :D

Happy Vaping!! :vapor:

I have two SIDs as primary. One is a tank holder and one is just for dripping. My emergency one is a 900mah eGO twist/spinner/winder thingy that stays in the car. That has a case with its own gear and a spare 18650 for the SID that I take with me.

When I switched, no way was I going to be without a vaporizing lightsabre to keep the cigs away.

I have 4 batteries which I rotate all the time, 2 chargers, my old lavatube1 is my backup and my primary mod is my SID (Which failing on my already :().

I use only 1 mod with a single juice and a protank2. I order new coils when I have only ~2 coils left.

As for juice, I order new juice when I hit the last 100ml.

Not plenty of stuff for backup but so far it's worked for me.

I carry an extra battery with me always (In a plastic enclosure) and my 20ml bottle of liquid.

It happened once that the coil started giving burned flavor while I was away from home and I had to withstand it. Perhaps I should carry an extra coil.

If the coil fails at work then I will get back home :p

Two weeks into vaping... I sat down with my morning cup of coffee and my spinner was dead. (Freaked out!!) I put it on the charger and took a extra long shower. It got me to the office. I called a co worker and told her to bring me one of her extra batteries. I swore that wouldn't happen again. Went that afternoon and got 2 more spinners and have since added a Vamo V5, SVD, E-LVT, MVP2. My pocketbook is now my vaporbook.

Vamo V3 and Vamo V5 are my main PV's, I have a mech mod as my backup. for toppers, I STILL use the Aga-T2 as my main with an Aqua clone on my mech mod as the backup. I also have a phoenix type RDA collecting dust and a Nimbus clone wired and ready as well. As we speak, I have an EGO type VV in the mail and four extra batteries, 2 CE5's and a mini protank on the way as we speak. Future purchase will be something along the Kayfun line of tanks to replace the AGA-T, but whatever I get, it will HAVE to be glass (which is why I'm still using the AGA-T2).

If you've read this forum enough, you've got to know by now that you ALWAYS need back ups for your back ups!!

I saw you were from Ga, but didn't know where Richland was... You're near Alabama and on the other side of Ga. :) I don't know of any vape shops there, but I see a few in Columbus if you're willing to take a drive there. :) I guess Internet is your main vape supply. :/

For a backup, I went with entirely different batteries, charger, and adapters to fit any atty / carto to any of my batteries, or PVs. This way if there is a catastrophic failure (dog used charger for a chew toy, charger goes bad and takes all my batteries with it, etc....) I have a true backup system. Any backup worth the name needs to have a backup for each vulnerable sub-section, power source (battery), actual PV (mod or ego, etc), atty or carto, and plenty of juice. IMHO....:vapor:

I will never smoke a cigarette again...
