Alright, going to give this another try.

It took me a couple of days before I could actually taste the Applewood but I've been sick so it's no fault of Don. Now that I am feeling better and don't have the constant taste of listerine in my mouth I am getting the full flavor on this one.

This is going to sound weird. The way I make my turkey for Thanksgiving, well, once a month, lol, is using a recipe I got from Food Network a few years ago. It is an easy recipe and involves putting an apple in the body cavity when you bake it. The family thinks I'm weird because I like to eat some of the apple with the dinner and that is what Applewood puts me in the mind of. A good smokey apple flavor. It is delicious without being overpowering. This, along with the Espresso has been put into my daily line up. If you haven't tried it yet I strongly suggest giving it a go, especially if you like baked apples.

Hi Jules...thats what I'm vaping right now, Its a good one too..Don has a gold mine with these juices...I just hope it doesn't go to his head LOL;)

Don's mixes are great. They have a good clear look to them and the light coloring is a huge plus. The darker a juice the more I worry about inhaling it.

For some reason that sounds pretty yummmmmy!!!!!!

Glad you didn't find my comparison to a turkey too strange, lol I love the apple part of the turkey and I love the Applewood. They really remind me of each other.

OK, you guys are making me drool. My order was shipped yesterday, Espresso (with a hint of cream and sugar), Applewood, Honey flue nut and both Malties.

It's all your fault.

I roast an apple with my chicken often, too. And onions. Is there a hint of onion in the Applewood? :D

Not that I could taste. I too use an onion and a couple of cinnamon sticks but I didn't detect any cinnamon either. Just a good smokey apple flavor, like it had been smoked instead of baked.

Applewood is just as others have described. Unfortunately, hubby liked it so much, he devoured the whole bottle and I didn't get to use but just a tad. That's okay because that was the first time he liked something other than a straight tobacco flavor. We'll be ordering a 30 ml bottle, along with another bottle of Malty Toffee and Virginia (his Virginia blend is fantastic!), plus, I'm going to try his RY4 and probably a couple of others. Don is a master blender in my book and his flavors are so pure and clean tasting.
