awhile back i had asked don to make an energy drink liquid - as i enjoy having it from time to time. i've tried quite a few of these, and there are some really good ones out there, but i wanted to see what don could do with it.
don asked me what i wanted in it specifically, and i told him i was looking for a fruity/sweet (but mellow) flavor, coupled with a tartness. that's all i told him.
fast forward to receipt of the bottle. it smells remarkably like the popular energy drinks. it tastes exactly like what i described that i wanted. i can't pinpoint what the sweet is. if its fruit, i don't know what kind. if its not fruit, i am just as bewildered. the tart side is, as usual with don, blended perfectly with the sweet.
about a week ago i sat with some forum members, who said they don't like energy drinks. they tried this and loved it. i ended up giving them what i had left.
i don't know if don plans on making this available or not, though we talked about names for it. if he decides to make it, and you're into the energy drink flavors (even if you're not), you'll need to put this one on your list.
