I'm mixing my own since shortly after I began vaping in late 2013.
You don't need to subohm for high vg juice but you need an atomizer that provides big enough juice supply paths. They don't need to be ridiculously big though, I can vape my 80VG/20PG juice in a kayfun prime.

Your nauti coils might have a too narrow passage in the coil head for high vg to work.

Juice can be made more liquid-ish by either using water instead of part of or all of the pg or by adding a small amount of vodka.

Ive read it can be mixed with distilled water. Not sure I wanna go down that route though.

I was planning on picking up a cheapish sub ohm kit to try out the 100% VG that I bought. My usual juice is 12mg, so I went and bought 12mg of the VG, which I since have learned is a complete no no, and will likely be far too strong for me.

I don't know it was smoking quit related but I got cystic acne around the same time on backside. I tried over the counter garbage and none of it worked. I went to a dermatologist and was given Clindamycin antibiotic cream to use for a month. This stuff helped but didn't get rid of it completely.

Went back to the Dermatologist and she did a salicylic acid/tea tree oil peel. Kind of painful and skin peeled off but it worked by the next day they were almost all dried up. Gone within a week and haven't returned.

Hello Again Everyone,

I am enjoying life greatly since quitting smoking (almost 3 months in), except for this not so pleasant detail. It's supremely annoying to put it mildly. First of all, even when I was a teenager I did not have any problems with my skin. Maybe the occasional zit or two, but nothing like what I am experiencing now. These are the type that are cystic deep below the skin and look disgusting.

It's been going on for about a month now and I have not had much in the way of success with the various over the counter acne treatments (Proactiv, Claridad, etc.).

Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Do I have any recourse other than just hoping it runs it's course? Is maybe seeing a dermatologist a good idea?
I am a seasoned water fasting person (have dinner multiple 5-7 day water only fasts) and it's definitely a common detox symptom. Have you tried cutting animal products out if your diet?

Have also gotten rid of a mole on my face by using turmeric applied directly. You can make a paste with it, too. I wonder if that would be helpful?

Yeah, I did a couple 7 day water fasts in my youth. What can I say, I was young, idealistic, and thought it might "benefit" me. A bunch of us did it in group retreat format. So we had a good (and psychedelic time... .Just from the fast... On day 6, I had a lucid dream about eating Doritos. I reported it during check in and EVERYONE wanted Doritos.

I did not get moar zits, my detox all took place through my digestive system, is all I'm going to say, but zits are a common (and usually transient) detox symptom. I didn't notice a huge change in the beginning (my skin is fairly stable) but I have noticed that the longer I vape, the less zits I get, and I take a med that causes that side effect.

I wouldn't be able to hazard a guess about how long it might last, but I would probably get concerned if it lasted for more than a month. And if it does, I guess the alternate possibility might be a sensitivity to an ingredient in your vape, but I wouldn't think that AT ALL unless/until you get through the detox process.

If it gets too bad/annoying at any point in the process, well, that's what dermatologists are for. Plenty of non-invasive treatments to be obtained, etc.

Water fasting is hugely beneficial. Combined with a plant based diet, people have been cured of a myriad of diet related diseases.

I avoid going to doctors unless it's an emergency. Even dermatologists. Mine would have loved to charge me $$$ to freeze off a mole on my face I was able to get rid of with turmeric.

I use distilled water, 10% as I am PG sensitive. It's great for thinning your vape, it won't decrease those huge VG clouds by much. My latest mix, I experimented with PEG400, which was a suggested alternative and is not something I am sensitive to, I do expect it to reduce my clouds by a fair amount (and I still added some DW to my mixes) although I won't find out for about a month, as that's how long my juices steep, usually.

I just got an air purifier (today-- Amazon Prime deal so Sunday). I got a fairly inexpensive, rather small model as I really only vape in our living dining area, but so far, it is doing a great job at reducing my VG clouds.

If you think PG is causing your sensitivity/zits, you can use DW, and you could also try PEG400 as an alternative, if you so desire. I really wanted less clouds, which is why I am willing to give it a whirl. I can't say much about it yet other than I'm not sensitive to it in any way, and it appears that it will work similarly to PG, as far as less fog, how much of a flavor carrier it is, I'm not certain yet. Which is why I really want to steep my juices their usual amount, to see if I need to up flavorings.

But, you do have options, if you want them.

The Honeywell Quiet clean. It's small, about 3 feet high and was fairly inexpensive at Amazon, around $60. It has removable, washable filters which I like. So far (I had it on high, the husband just turned it down to low) it's doing great at removing visible fog and odor, from vaping. If you do have an area where you tend to vape inside and fog and film accumulates, I guess it would be possible that an air purifier might help skin issues, if the issue is vapor in the air. Although, I can't imagine still not getting some on your FACE or at least near it, given that one is inhaling and exhaling.

An air purifier might cut down on vapor total in the air, I'd think. That might help matters a bit, possibly.

This model is not super powerful, but placed in the right area of the house, it's decent and definitely helps. For the size of my room living/dining area I felt that it was powerful enough and so far, seems to be. I'll probably be keeping it on high in the a.m. which is where I do my most intense chain vaping, usually.

The husband seems quietly pleased, I guess we will see. So far, of course, he immediately turned it to low, and even though I have told him to shut all the doors, he has left every single one of them open.

Since it's not my job to run around closing doors after him, I imagine the times it will be on high in the appropriate space will be the mornings, I am an early awakener and he is NOT.

You know, though, if he handed me a tool (he is a BIT of a TOOL today) and I started using it wrong, he would immediately lecture me, and tell me to fix it.

I am NOT a tool, but I LIKE tools, and so far it appears this is going to reduce my VG fog a great deal (most likely and most often when the husband is asleep, or out. He really is an irritant today. LOL.
