Bad bad taste - new atomizer?

I just got my SS Elite (Smoore M402) and took my first "E-puff" this morning! The "feel" of it and the draw are good, but...

This taste! It's gawd-awful! 8-o I'm guessing this is the "primer" I read about that they put in the new atomizers? Am I remembering correctly? I tried to find the old posts that I read about this but can't locate them.

If it is the primer and not just the way tobacco flavored carts taste, how long does it take to burn this off and get to the "real" flavor of the carts? So far I've maybe puffed on it for a good 7 to 10 drags, but I just can't get past this taste.

Please tell me it won't be long until it's gone...please

It can sometimes take a full day to break in an atty and get rid of the taste. If it just won't go away you can try boiling the atty. Be aware, that you will have to wait for it to dry out and it can, on occasion, cause the premature death of a working atty..........

The atty for my blu had primer as well...a real funky taste...LOL.

Best thing I'd recommend is to just puff it out. It seemed the primer on mine cooked off in about a day, now my juice is real tasty. Hope this helps.

Uuuggghhhh!!! Guess I'm just being impatient.

Gonna switch to a menthol cartridge (even though I don't smoke menthols) hoping the menthol will help to mask the taste of this primer until it's gone. Wowza! - that is foul!

Not getting much vapor production either. Just a wisp here and there.
