I bought a set of 5 red 801 batteries a few weeks ago. All of them have died now. 2 died during the cleaning cycle, 2 died randomly while I was using them, in one case in the middle of a draw, and one of them has some weird thing with the switch. Every time I draw on it it flashes like a strobe. Strange.

None of them will charge and the light on the charger or battery doesn't come on when I place them in the charger. I've tried more than one charger and get the same problem.

I know it isn't something I'm doing to them since I still have my old white batteries that I've been using for 3-4 months now. The old white batteries are getting old and tired, but still work as they should. Only the new red ones that I just got are dying on me.

I've already contacted Ed about this but will have to wait till after the Chinese holiday for him to get back.

Anyhow, has any one else had problems with the 801 batteries lately?

"Has any one else had problems with the 801 batteries lately" No but all of my 5 Auto battery's for the J-118 vaporizer died in a week, they were Replaced with manual switch battery's, and life is great again,I will never use a auto battery again, the manual battery allows for better user control, more vapor, and just a overall user friendly experience.

Yes, pete

I have been an 801 lover for well over 10 months now, and I have always bought from East Mall, I love them,
I have also - like you- discovered the absolute pleasures of the manual battys,
more vapor, better taste, and I control the length and strength of my draws ---------8-o
I will never go back to auto batts again.:)

Hi,

I just received my shipment of bulk atty's and manual batteries for my 901 and I couldn't be more disappointed. Out of the 5 batteries, 1, maybe 2 (although #2 is iffy at best) work. The rest all flash like mad but won't hold a charge. The atty's seem okay, but it's hard to say given the state of my batteries. I have only 2 old autos left that don't have a lot of juice left in them to give an accurate comparison.... Obviously why I bought the manuals :) I purchased the extenders as well so that the buttons wouldn't get in the way and have alternated between my 3 chargers so I know that isn't the issue.

Anyone?

Peg
