Just curious, although it's too late to change my mind. I'm expecting a quantity of East Mall's 801 atomizers any day now.

I had some bad luck with the atomizers I got from Pure Smoker to go with my 6V Prodigy and USB pass thru (5V I think?). The 9 atomizers I tried only lasted a few days each - some less than one day.

The 801 atomizers that I've had good luck with came from GuangZhou LeJe Electronics. I can count on them to last a couple of weeks if not more. But they only have white ones in stock right now...and I like the pretty colors. So I'm giving East Mall a try. One reviewer on their site specifically mentioned using them with the Prodigy and gave the atomizers a rave review.

But that was just one review and I'd like to hear from some other East Mall customers. What can I expect? Will EM's 801 attys hold up for a couple of weeks at 5-6V or will they die fast? How's the flavor at higher voltages?

I suppose if they don't work well, you'll be hearing more from me on this subject.

Thanks for your input.

I would only advise that with any atty that you buy ---
they are made to vape at 3.7 volts,

if you vape them at higher volts you are pushing the envelope,
however, you can do it,
and you can do it successfully,
but the golden rule is ---

KEEP IT WET

keep the liquid up to the atty keep that bridge wet with juice
so it doesn't overheat and burn out.

Using this keep it wet rule, -- many people are vaping 6volt mods with East Mall 801 Attys successfully, for several weeks.

Thanks for the reply, Di. My shipment just arrived and I'm using one on my 5V USB bypass as I type. So far, so good. It took a while to break it in, but we're vaping clouds now. Good throat hit, and your Red Bull juice tastes great. Just as soon as it starts to taste even the tiniest bit "off" I'm dripping some more.

If I understand correctly, East Mall is not only a seller, but also the manufacturer? If so, please ask the powers that be to design a line of atomizers suitable for the big battery mods - something that will take more power without pushing that envelope. So many of us are using 5-6V now because they're the only types of e-cig that deliver consistantly, and realistically mimic the effect of an analog cigarette. And we're all screaming for atomizers that can take the heat, hold the juice, and stay reliable. Just something for your company's suggestion box. If East Mall can come up with that, customers will flock to your website, I absolutely and positively guarantee it.

I will heed your advice. My new mantra: Keep it wet!!!
