I got some bad news :(

I orderd PG from a company, but it's unusable because the smell is very bad. Just like glue with alcohol. Anybody had this problem? my previous order PG was just fine...

Also the previous batch had a 99,8% grade sticker and this one 99%. The Company told me that someone did some bad stickering...

I think this is completely wrong PG can't smell like this...
Any thoughts?

I agree, it's completely wrong.

And could very well be very dangerous to inhale. Please do not vape that. God only knows what's in it! I've been buying PG for DIY juice for about 4 years now and it has never had any noticeable smell to it. My thought is the bottle is completely mislabeled or it has been contaminated.

Two questions for you .. is the PG meant for vaping and is it marketed as USP grade?

Thanks for all your concerns, i am not going to vape it.
I will keep the PG as evidence (i have also a few unopened ones)
In between i have contact with the company.
First of all they assured me the PG is for 200% fine.
A few minutes later i got a confirmation that i am being refunded.

And thanks to Fad, i mentioned that it could be also another chemical because they do sell those and to my great concern he mentioned this couldn't be ruled out.

So i hope it's not something really bad, because after a few good inhalations i got a bit dizzy and heavy headed for around 3 hours. I have also tasted a bit, but i could not tell for sure what it tasted like compared to my previous batch PG. I don't want to expose myself more to this unknown compound. I am not sure if it's from the stuff itself or my mind does this because i don't know what it is.

If the substance is very bad for your health i am even thinking of suing the company, because this can't happen again. What if.....

Again I was shocked that the owner says he could not rule out that this wasn't PG but another chemical... :(

I hope that company's take responsibility so they know for 100% what they sell to their customers.

Maybe its a good idea to separated different chemicals from each other in the packaging proces. Like not to use the same packaging for different chemicals. So even when wrong labeling happens you easily can see the difference.

When I first started vaping I bought a liter of USP grade PG from an Amazon seller. I didn't need it right away so it was stored for six months. Once opened I immediately noticed a strong chemical smell much like what you describe and it tasted worse than it smelled so I tossed it. Now I only buy PG, VG (and nic) from reputable, high volume vendors. None of the PG or VG I've purchased from Essential Depot or Bulk Apothecary has ever turned bad, even after years of room temperature storage. Lesson learned.

Come to think about it though. It does seem like I have read something like this in the not too distant past. Maybe in the older folks thread and thinking back I am thinking it was @2legsshrt that noticed a smell to his PG.

Keep in mind I could be totally wrong and maybe it was a flavoring that smelled like fingernail polish remover and it could have been someone else. Seems the brain cells are the first thing to go. I just wanted to throw this out there just in case both products were bought from the same place and if so maybe we should start taking names and writing down numbers.

Seems to me like a few years ago a nic supplier was sending out bad stuff. By banding together and getting it out in the open that nic supplier was reigned in. Banding together can do a LOT more than a law suit. JMHO

I've probably used the same company (D.C. ?)although i've never had a problem.
ANY smell to a brand new unopened bottle of PG is unacceptable.
Giving you a refund without requesting the return of the bottle for analysis/stock control strikes me as very odd behaviour and sounds like an admission of error or a blatant disregard for basic health and safety.
I wouldn't use them again.
